Janji & Johnning - Nostalgia was a very nice surprise this month! I hope NCS will return to releasing more of these nostalgic house tracks in the future!
Also, I'm not surprised that KEVU delivered some quality. I'm surprised he even wound up on this label in the first place. This lad has been a big artist for labels like Revealed and Rave Culture.
Yeah, I sorta use the Queen Lancer rating style. Anything 5/10 and above is considered good 6/10 and above is considered great, 7.5/10 and above is considered amazing, and 8.5 and up is considered a masterpiece

Overall thoughts on the month: Huge improvement from May! I like to see NCS adding more quality songs, and also big comebacks! The BLINDSIDE Remix EP wasn't the best though, the only amazing ones being intouch's and Pala Chrome's remixes. However, almost every other song was at good! Overall the 2nd best month of the year, with April easily being my favorite. Best: Stay Remix & Pushing On (it was released in June for me)

Most of the remixes sucked except Dust of Apollons, pretty run of the mill dnb tracks except underrated, which is low key really underrated, delta, nostalgia, taking it slow, and the right time r all bangers, and the phonk tracks are kinda jus there ig. Oh yea and the nunca remix slaps for no reason at all.
By this point in the year, we should really begin forming our Best of 2024 playlist; we can take our best 16 tracks from this year (so far) and do some stuff with them, like compare with other best of the year albums, hope that NCS puts them in their BO'24 playlist, etc 😂

I don't want to be arrogant with current fans but... That essence that NCS had before (2015-19) is no longer left. Although at that time there were random artists that I didn't know about, they released very good bangers for those years and also the peak of ncs were house, trap, dubstep and indie dance. Don't hate me, I know that not everything is horrible this month, there are some rescues, but in general the non-original artists that were there before are no longer as interesting to me as they were in the past. BANDIDO FUNK It's one of the worst songs I've heard in the entire history of NCS. I can't stand what they said so high up above and to make matters worse, the fact that it has a simple name and 3 numbers in its nickname makes me think that they are no longer bringing interesting artists. And also another song that I give my unpopular opinion, Rave Teacher seemed horrible to me, very horrible. I'm very sorry, I don't want to be arrogant against the authors of the songs because I know that there will be a sector that does like these songs and also the new NCS format. Yeah, I totally agree with you. The genres people want nowadays ain't the stuff that people are going to put in the background of their nature vlogs, so NCS doesn't want to release a lot of them. And even besides from that, the quality in itself (production, mixing, etc.) has gone down drastically also. The big artists nowadays just aren't interested in signing their tracks to NCS because of the lack of streams and stuff.

Most of the remixes sucked except Dust of Apollons, pretty run of the mill dnb tracks except underrated, which is low key really underrated, delta, nostalgia, taking it slow, and the right time r all bangers, and the phonk tracks are kinda jus there ig. Oh yea and the nunca remix slaps for no reason at all.
By this point in the year, we should really begin forming our Best of 2024 playlist; we can take our best 16 tracks from this year (so far) and do some stuff with them, like compare with other best of the year albums, hope that NCS puts them in their BO'24 playlist, etc 😂

I don't want to be arrogant with current fans but... That essence that NCS had before (2015-19) is no longer left. Although at that time there were random artists that I didn't know about, they released very good bangers for those years and also the peak of ncs were house, trap, dubstep and indie dance. Don't hate me, I know that not everything is horrible this month, there are some rescues, but in general the non-original artists that were there before are no longer as interesting to me as they were in the past. BANDIDO FUNK It's one of the worst songs I've heard in the entire history of NCS. I can't stand what they said so high up above and to make matters worse, the fact that it has a simple name and 3 numbers in its nickname makes me think that they are no longer bringing interesting artists. And also another song that I give my unpopular opinion, Rave Teacher seemed horrible to me, very horrible. I'm very sorry, I don't want to be arrogant against the authors of the songs because I know that there will be a sector that does like these songs and also the new NCS format. Yeah, I totally agree with you. The genres people want nowadays ain't the stuff that people are going to put in the background of their nature vlogs, so NCS doesn't want to release a lot of them. And even besides from that, the quality in itself (production, mixing, etc.) has gone down drastically also. The big artists nowadays just aren't interested in signing their tracks to NCS because of the lack of streams and stuff.
