How would you compare the mt-07 to the cbr600rr?

I love my 2022 Mt-07. I got mine back in February. I was supposed to get a mt-09, but came in damaged so got Mt-07. I have the M4 full exhaust, have the ecu flash, and the DNA intake for it. Boy this machine moves. And the sound, 😍💪🏽💯. Glad to see you are enjoying it as much as I am. So glad I didn't end up with the Mt-09. Be safe brother and great video.
Nice! I owned a MT-09 and sold it last year, I like the MT-07 better, this bike just feels better and is more fun to me. I like the chassis better on the MT-07, the MT-09 chassis was weird to me, but the triple cylinder engine was really nice.

It never ceases to amaze me, how much better a bike can be, after you mod it. I have 5 bikes now (WR250X my newest perches) All my bikes are old. The oldest being my ZX9R, 1999, But, with all the mods I have on them, they are truly different bikes. All look so much better, sound so much better, perform so much better, It's just awesome. Where i from decent exhaust system can cost 2k and 600 buck flash or commander, same with shipment from abroad, the tax fee is crazy
I got my MT07 like 5 months ago and I've been absolutely in love. Thinking about getting this exhaust and flashing the ECU as a 1 year birthday present for the bike haha. I feel pretty good about putting money into this bike because I know the engine is gonna last forever and I just love it so much.
My SV was the same. Full exhaust, filter and ecu flash made it so much more fun than stock

I got my 2021 mt07 last march and just completed my build on it. Two brothers black carbon exhaust , k&n air filter and 2WDW flash tune. Bike rips!! by far my favorite bike I’ve owned
There's like 10 thousand videos on CZcams showing every last nuance of tuning the MT-07 and the before/after results. And Cycle Cruza comes along and reinvents the wheel.
I have a ‘22 MT09 and I can’t lie I wish the MT09s sounded the same. The 07s sound so deep
Looks and sounds awesome brah! Took a MT07 for a test drive over the weekend. I liked it but it was too tall for me. I rode a scout bobber and loved it. Hope to order one soon. Ride safe man and enjoy it!
Too tall? This bike is pretty low but I guess not as low as a scout bobber. That is cool bike too.
@@CycleCruza sadly, I’m vertically challenged at a whopping 5’6. I tip toe on the MT07 and I can flat foot with my knees a little bent on the scout. I can push the scout backwards without getting off which is a big plus. Also another problem is insurance. The insurance is a lot higher down here in Mississippi for Yamaha compared to the Indian. I don’t know why.

I always tell people to really do the full mods on the 07 before they move to a different bike. Hear a lot of people say "oh it was my first bike I got bored" and only put an amazon exhaust on it with no tune or anything. Get yourself a quality exhaust, flash it or dyno tune it, hi flow air filter or hord power intake, OEM R6 throttle tube... completely changes the MT07. Amazing ride! Bike is looking and sounding good cyclecruza!
It doesn't matter what first bike someone gets, even a liter bike, they will want to try another bike. I went through 12 bikes in 10 years. lol However, I've realize the smaller torquey quick bikes are the most fun to me for urban riding.
You're still the best most positive biker CZcamsr out there man. I love your vibe and I also seem to share the same opinion about lots of the little nitty gritty stuff that you mentioned, but a lot of other folks don't get

I picked up my 2015 fz07 for 4500 a few years back. Got the same exhaust on and a hord power intake that ive got to install and tune on the way. Can't wait.
I'm watching all you mt07 videos and I'm even more convinced that I'll get one just to mount on an Akrapovic racing exhaust.

Do a 2wdw tune. They have tuned thousands of these bikes over the years. Reliable for sure.

It is pretty hard to make a Yamaha unreliable. No worries, if anything you are freeing the bike up from being corked up.

The flash tune makes a hell of a difference most noticeable thing is how it doesnt feel flat in the middle once its tuned, if youd run the bike without the map almost feels like the throttle has lag

How does the flash device work? Do i need to do a new flash every time I get a new exhaust, air filter etc.? How can it distinguish between different exhausts? Does it have a map for every exhaust or does it do diagnostics before a custom flash? Sorry - I’m new to this.

You race people who don’t know you’re racing? There’s no way an mt07 will take an r1 in the 60’ or the 1/8 mile. By the time they fully have the clutch out you’re topping third gear. Get over yourself

Why you only ride in 4 th gear?
Earlier this year, I removed the baffle on the Titanium Akra on my 2018 MT07 and it was SCARY loud! I had to put it back in lol!

Found some answers, couldn’t understand why Akra would make a Titanium exhaust with stainless headers. They make both now. Heres their answer.
The Racing Line is identical to Akrapovic’s top range Evolution Line exhaust systems, with the major difference being the material that is used for the headers and mid-pipes. The headers and mid-pipes of the Evolution Line are constructed exclusively of titanium while the Racing Line uses stainless steel.
I can see peoples heads exploding with you doing those RPMs before breaking it in. I did the same thing LOL. I like that sound, I have the TI version and didn't know anything about the racing one. You have a great sound, I had to get the MT-09 baffle to make it sound badass. The stock baffle was just a little bit louder than stock and without the baffle it was too loud. So the MT-09 baffle was a great go between. But yours sound great without modding the baffle. To live is to learn. LOL. Be safe out there.

Moore Mafia does ECU flashes for most Kawasaki . My 2017 V Max went from 146 to 166 Mph on top end. I just got my ECU back for my 2020 Kaw ZH2. Their turn around is quick.

The only thing I dont know is if the olw owner flashed the ecu after installing akrapovic on it. I'll eventually get the tuning device just for piece of mind and to fully take advantage of the pieces on my bike

I was considering the mt10 or mt09sp as they have cruise control, but I may have to reconsider and even consider the new Honda hornet 🐝 coming out next year instead… I wish the MT 07 had cruise control or I wish the Honda hornet had a 180 rear tire instead of a 160
Cruza had a older gen mt09, the new gen is badass and completely different than the old. I love my 2022 mt09 sp.
You can't go wrong with any of the MT bikes, they are all great but this MT-07 is special, it just feels so good to me. I wouldn't bet on the new Hornet being so great, knowing honda they will find a way to make it vanilla, probably doesn't have much grunt. We'll see tho. I might add a MT-10 for fun to complete the trilogy.
I cant compare numbers but full system, fuel controller and air filter made a noticible difference on my 650

You just can't be a aftermarket exhaust when it comes to the CP2. Reflashed ecu and tune with the weight savings. It fully transforms the MT07 into a even more fun hooligan wheelie machine.

yeah the reflash does smooth the throttle out. Stock wasn't bad tho, unlike the stock mt-09 ride by wire throttle. Even the mt-09 throttle got smoothed out better with a ecu reflash.

I know I know ,.. and it is well noticed for your happiness ,.. a complete exhaust on a mt 07 completely changes this bike that is already good stock ,.. but with a good exhaust ,.. preferably an acrapovik ,. but as they are expensive, there are also cheaper ones and they also have a very top sound,..I put it in my 07,.. a roaditalia thunder carbon,..and it already has a nice sound, not as much as the akrapovik carbon,. .but it's close,...but it changes,..and it changes a lot,...it's the best mod on mt 07

Hello CycleCruza I have been following you since 2018. One mod you will enjoy is changing the stock throttle tube to the R6 throttle tube. In 2018 I changed my throttle tube off my 2017 FZ-07 and what it does is it makes the travel of the throttle less. Almost half the throttle to get to wide open throttle. Father Damian

i think youre going to love the mt10 when you get one, even though the mt07 is a bad ass bike im still glad i went with mt10 instead, if i could have both i definitely would though
I am thinking to upgrade to MT 09 SP. The Gas mileage wasn't good for mt10 was it?
@@warrenstone100 yea i thought about the mt09 as well but the power isnt comparable from what ive seen between the mt09 and mt10 apparently the 09 is just slightly more powerful than the 07 but yea gas mileage seems kind of bad compared to other 1000cc bikes ive had but on my dash it says i average about 35mpg guess its not horrible

your absolutely right, these things aren't slow but I really think they'd be perfect if they made around 90 rwhp
There is a turbo kit that will get this bike over 100 hp. However, for me it is perfect the way it is for urban riding. Top end power just gets you speeding tickets and most of our riding is on the city which this bike is perfect for.
were you able to tune down the engine brake with the flash? i love mine but the stock engine brake is terrible. i cant even downshift without chirping the tires and almost launching myself over the handlebars

I had an mt07 and it was pretty solid. Had an m4 exhaust and that mf crackled and popped so loud it scared people. I didn’t want it for my main bike bc I’m on the hwy too much. It’s a great bike tho
Sounds nice, so much better than a 250 on the freeway. Snowflakes are coming soon for the frozen north, need yoga mat and tank bag full of fruit, plums, maybe some cuties oranges, take that long ride.
Is there any slip on exhausts for the MT07? I live in California and have strict emissions standards to meet.

The Kawasaki ER650 n Was honestly pretty good middleweight bike I think you’d like it also it didn’t sell very well so they’re easy to find and usually pretty cheap probably pretty comparable performance

I'll believe you when I see a before/after dyno-comparison. I think it has a lot to do with the noise and the experience. It's hard to believe there's a >5Nm torque gain across the rev range...
Weight loss helps as well, so it's not just hp/tq gain... but, yeah, unleashing the sound always makes it "feel" faster!
Yea they don't gain much anymorey. It's pretty well maxed out from factory. Most of what the rider feels is increased responsiveness and the bump in the upper revs...if the muffler was quiet on it. He wouldn't think it gained at all

I have a 2014 Honda cbr650f and it goes over 100mhp easy your Mt07 should do over 100 easy and i don't see that. My Honda is a 650 your Mt07 is a 700?
