Idk why no youtuber is commenting about this game deliberately scripting to keep games close lol ea does this shit in all their games. Hate blowing out an fcs school by 40/50 then in the 4th their QB turns into Peyton Manning. I have multiple dynasties with different level of teams this game just plays to team ratings and not as much user skip which is not good for the community. I also have clips of chest glitches and phantom penalties that have benefited the ai and cost me games. Still trying to have fun but I’ll prolly be over it in another week or two if it doesn’t stop playing so cheesy
Because they want to maintain a relationship with EA and stay in their good graces. They want to get early access to demo, etc etc.
I hadn't run into those issues at the time of making the video. Granted I'm not connected to EA nor do I really have plans to be at this time. The more I've played, yeah, this game has alot to be desired. It's a shame I didn't run into it before making this video

I was talking to a friend about me possibly buying the game, he said he had it and he thought madden was better. (And i like nfl more than college irl), but i got cfb 25 anyways and after playing the past day or two i gotta say i like it more than madden, better graphics, feels more responsive, more game modes, the attention to detail for stadiums etc. I havent enjoyed playing a sports game this much in a long time. Hopfully this just aint a honeymoon phase
Blocking logic and pursuit angles need some work
I hate Madden. Gameplay is so bad. I have more hours in this game so far, then i put into any madden game in the last 8 7 or 8 years. The two games are nothing a like gameplay wise. So id take his review with a grain of salt
I feel like some parts of the game specifically animations are directly from madden. To not say that is just being blind. I did say clearly that the game itself as a whole is nothing like Madden. Appreciate the comment tho! Enjoy the weekend
You’re just flat out wrong, the game has the same animations, bad blocking, coverage just like madden. I’d say that the biggest difference is that the animations and game flow are faster

This game is a 5-6/10
I like the game. Been playing it. There are a quite few bugs that I feel could be patched up soon if they work them. Also some things that hopefully could be added as well like games starting at 6 fading from day to night. It seems as if they already have it in early games. Overall tho I can understand some people frustrations with the game. With a game that took 2-3 years to make and a billion dollar company behind it. You would like to see at least the presentation be damn near perfect. I know perfection is “impossible” but I mean if you play the game am i the only one that feels like it’s slow on one end from the commentators but fast ash from just the actual presentation like the halftime show, or even play to play with whatever just happend. Like I think that’s a big miss. Bugs like when creating custom conferences and you take away all teams from the independent conference it messes up somehow and makes the mid American basically not be present and the sun belt like pushed off to the side. No espn license or anything like that. Like is it nit picking to a point yea but I mean 2-3 years I can understand why some feel like dang is that the best we could do…

Agreed the game play is really really but not perfect but the game lack a lot of the stuff madden even had and we said that title lacks alot another thing that really pisses me off is that is road to glory has the typical madden positions 14 you could play everything I played d1 ball and I played edge I don’t want to have to only play middle linebacker cause I can’t rush the passer I want to play my position and heres the thing they said it’d be a lot more than superstar and it’s tbh worse than superstar
Another thing equipment doesn’t matter but as a football player I remember seeing the newest gear in college that was the first time you seen it all why do we have gear from madden 20/21 in what would be technically speaking a game 4-5 years from those……

Why do you pay for games when they are just gonna go offline in a year or two? They force you into buying the new game if you want to play online and you support that practice when you buy their game.

"close to college football as you can get in the world today" - yikes....I think not. This game is so full of inconsistencies and junk. If you were fooled by this illusion of window dressings, I question your ability to objectively see the world around you. Try playing a Dynasty season or two and see how "realistic" it is.
I still believe that the presentation is very accurate to CFB today. The gameplay, the more I play, the more issues I've run into. It's a shame that I didn't get those glitchy moments or run into the OP Turbo CPU that you cannot stop until a few days after I made this video. I definitely feel much different about the gameplay today than I did almost a month ago. Hate to say that there's much more work to do than I initially realized after day 1.
@@TylerIcelyCFB the dynasty is what blows it for me. You can't get through a season without being taken out of the CFB atmosphere. It was clear the people contracted to code this game were from India. They had no idea what American football was about, have never been to a college football stadium / game because THAT aspect is not in the game. There are no recruiting hot beds. Every recruit has a beard. There are tons of white specialist recruits in the midwest. There is no poaching the Gulf South for top 5* talent. Old Dominion, Temple and NMSU are in the top 25 winning National Championships. That aspect of the game sabotages the "CFB" feel of the game. I haven't even touched on game play

Yep, lot of crybabys… make a list of your complaints. I gotta see how petty some of this is. The ONLY thing I’ve heard that bumbs me out is no tracking of Rivalry games won via the trophy case.
