I have some of my pins from Etsy on Pinterest. I have been pinning for about 3 years. I make one main product and I have 2 other variations. Over the years I had some of my listings expire and I made new ones. Someone told me that my older pins on Pinterest of my etsy products were not going through to my shop or they would say "sold out but see what else is available". This tells me that we should keep our listings so that potential customers on Pinterest can go straight through and purchase the product on Etsy. Here you are saying to keep the listings fresh. That would mean that the listing would be frustrating to a potential customer to have to search the store for what they saw in the pin. Some of the pins are still circulating that were originally pined 3 years ago. Maybe my model is different then others that constantly have new product?

maybe try pinning it back to your shop as a whole and not a specific product so it never runs out or expires.

I wish I could find out how to do that. I just use the Pinterest button from the Etsy listing to put a listing on Pinterest and have to keep that listing permanently. I just change out the photos as the seasons change to keep it fresh. I only have consistent products and not a multitude of them, so this really works. I do have some pins that I can put my Wordpress website on, but don't know how to put my Etsy Store on. I'll have to try to find out this connection.

if you bring up one of your pins then click on the pencil icon at the top, you can edit (or add if it's not there) your etsy shop url and NOT the one tagging a specific listing or a shop update. the advantage is your pin will always direct shoppers to the home page of your shop. if you use the shop update feature from the app to post to social media it will show other shop's listing above and below yours by editing or adding your shop's url instead of the address of the shop update it will not do this. your shop's url is is www.YourShopName.etsy.com so in my case its www.DreamGreatDreams.etsy.com). good luck and happy sales!

I never got the point of the #5 category page. You explain what it is but do not say this is how you get on it or this is how you do not get on it. More explanation?

Hi Nan! Etsy still does some disambiguation, but this video is pretty old, so the specific category pages you're referencing are no longer relevant😊

marmalead is a a very difficult word to spell and when people say it on youtube they say it as marbleaid which doesnt come up in search, ( marblelade ) which is like jelly canned goods, home made jarring so your entire brand name is confusing, what does orange jelly have to do with etsy? Also so hard to spell and confusing how its spelled because of your spelling it in a way that people aren't aware. Just an observation, it was a pain in the but to find your website. Because you don't understand search even in your own brand it's hard to think of you as authoritative. Also marbleade is a nasty jelly that old people eat its not happening at all.
