Im Mexican and a fan of your channel! I have heard and come across alot of negative comments before about Mexican candy being considered “gross.” There is a wide variety of candy flavors in Mexico ranging from spicy to sweet, as you’ve demonstrated in this video. It’s unfortunate that some people generalize Mexican candy as being disgusting because they tasted one that was not to their liking. Thank you for being kind, even when you were not an instant fan with some of the candy you tried in this video! Love your videos, keep up the great work! ❤️

Retro AZ boy ..yes and yes up close I was hiking with my wife and daughter outside of canyon lake my wife and daughter took a rest I went on about 1/2 mile down in a small ariyo cave I found a dead hawk and about 10 other bird's dead and thought wondering what happened I saw a bee heard a bee then heard a buzz that was all over and had about 20 around me az boy I knew . Btw at this point almost all bees in the southern part of AZ are killer bees I ran like hell away down fromy wife and kids ..killer bees will follow up to a mile or so down a dry Creek I had on desert gear boony cap long sleeve pants boots I dropped my water my pack everything I could ran to the point of almost dropping. AZ boy I know it's ether out run them or die . Got stung about 5 times took me two miles and I had to climb ...ok jog up the side of the canyon to return to my wife and daughter still seeing a bee or two. My wife was like where did you go I said run to the car. . I waited till thay where about 1/8 mile ahead of me sucks but I'd rather it be me LoL we made it back. This' was about 4 years ago that same spring a college student and his girlfriend where in the same area and the guy got attacked and didn't make it. It's not a joke at all those bees are so dangerous. If it's over 71 degrees and I see more than 3 bees I don't continue . I was literally within 20 feet of the hive if I didn't know what I know I would have probably died. Evory thing you hear about them is true. I'm not afraid of bears mountain lions or anything you can't shoot bees you can't puff out and stand your ground . You can't play dead. You can only avoid them . And funny enough look up the original killer bees it was actually a south American experiment gone wrong that got out and called African to shift blame . Literally a experiment to produce more honey gone wrong then tested as a weapon then it got out and had destroyed the bee population in South America and the south west of the USA.

There are only two things as a avid hiker In AZ I fear running across a meth lab and killer bees . ....and I'm a Iraq vet... I would rather do 6 months in the middle East than be 20 feet from a hive without bee keeping gear( even with that gear most exterminators still get stung 20 times plus on one call ). In the middle of the desert with no cell coverage . It's that bad !!!

the mazapán at 12:45 is really easy to make. It's nothing but finely chopped peanuts and powdered sugar. When you finely chop the peanuts, it extracts the peanut oil and it mixes with the powdered sugar and it makes a type of flour, in fact, the first part of the word mazapán, maza, is like the Spanish word masa, which is corn flour. The second part is pan, which means bread in Spanish.

I bought one of those a few years ago. I didn't like it.
I later read news reports online that said lead was found in this candy.

Also, it seems pretty surprising that there were not mostly candy made with tamarind fruit, otherwise known as tamarindo in Spanish. If you go into an Oxxo, the most famous convenience store in México, like 60 to 70% of the candy involves the tamarind fruit... And also dried peppers in powder form.

I'm Mexican and my favourite ones are those kinda spicy, it's typical here that when you go to a party when you are a kiddo, you get a bag of candies. When i was a kid the very first ones that i used to eat were the ones with tamarind and spice. Good videos amigo, i actually enjoy watching them all.
