My dad died from prostate cancer in May of this year. His doctor never did a biopsy and thought he had BPH. He had the Urolift procedure which I believe spread the cancer everywhere. When he was diagnosed he was at stage 4 with widespread bone metastasis. So incredibly heartbroken. Miss my dad so very much!!!

I've been PSA tested twice a year, every year, since 2000 (when I was 41). I have always run high numbers. Very rarely under 4.0. Often in the 5, 6, 7 range. My PCP pretty much thinks I have prostate cancer simply based on PSA. But, for me, it's been 22 years of tests and I'm still living and otherwise healthy. Also, annual digital exams have been "no abnormalities detected." So, SOME PEOPLE simply have congenitally high PSA numbers.

I know someone who is 83 years old and who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. To have the prostate removed is not a good thing. He took CBD. Now, every time he goes back to his specialist, he is getting better. I know a lady with a nasty fungus in her lungs. The traditional treatment is nasty and, she was told, can kill. She takes CBD and every time she goes back to her specialist she is getting better. I know other such stories. Search CBD. There is no THC in it. It is natural. I had a high PSA although I had not yet been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I took CBD. When I went back to my specialist my PSA reading was 5. He was surprised. When I was on it I took a voluntary blood test and urine test and lick test. Result? No findings. Get the best you can find. What have you got to lose?

It's not a good idea to give medical advice if you are not a medical professional--especially one who is not trained specifically for prostate cancer. You are giving dangerous advice. Your advice may cause someone to forgo life saving treatment by medical professionals using proven tradition methods such as brachytherapy, Electron beam radiation therapy and prostatectomy.

Hello Lisa Morris, thanks for the question. With the right treatment, it can of course improve. The doctor treating it can offer advice on what can be done to improve life after diagnosis. It's important to follow the treatment plan, but relaxation techniques, Kegel exercises to support the muscles around the bladder which can sometimes be affected with treatment can also be advised to improve quality of life.

Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous tumors that grow from the muscle layers of the womb. These benign growths of smooth muscle can vary from the size of a bean to being as large as a melon.
They are also known as leiomyomas and myomas.
Fibroids affect around 30 percent of all women by the age of 35 years, and from 20 to 80 percent by the age of 50 years.
They usually develop between the ages of 16 to 50 years. These are the reproductive years during which estrogen levels are higher.

It’s now 2019 and I still have no difficulty with my prostate that’s apparent to me but my psa has increased to 13 as of 2017, my last psa test. I still have not had a biopsy as of 2019. It concerns me to go messing around with my prostate looking for cancer with a highly invasive test and all it’s associated hazards when I have no perceived difficulty down there.
