I got a question. Lets say you have 808 #1 in the playlist and you have 808 #2 right after it.but 808 #2 is a different note or different 808 itself and the 808 keeps overlapping when it switches over. What do I do?

There seems to have been extremely little actual FM synthesis going on. Most of the sound was achieved through overdrive and cabinet simulation. The actual FM synthesized sound was pretty bland and nothing like a guitar
I'd be interested to see the guitar sounds from Xeno Crisis(synthesized using the YM2612 chip) replicated using modern VSTs.

Check their phase and align them by delaying them or the track, if not possible, you have to duck one of them or shape them off completely
