My son was born similarly two days later 2/21. Sunny side up, heart rate kept dropping, born in one push after miraculously flipping. Cord was wrapped around his neck twice. Despite the crazy, he is healthy too. So grateful for healthy babies and amazing medical teams!! Congrats!

I’m so so sorry you had such a traumatic delivery. As a nicu nurse on that team that comes when the code bell rings this is why I always always advocate for a hospital birth when people want a home birth. Things can change in a matter of moments. I’m so beyond grateful that she is healthy and perfect! ♥️

She is so adorable and I am glad everyone is doing healthy. My heart dropped when you mentioned all the nurses coming in, her heartrate dropping, and the emergency alarm going off. When I had Anna we had a bunch of nurses in cuz he had a bowel movement just before my water broke. As I mentioned before her heartrate also kept going all over the place and the room next door had a code pink so the doctors left me in the middle of pushing. It was hard but I can't imagine her here

We almost had same birthday,I'm Feb 13 almost Vday baby! Sounds like same steps my son and his fiance had to to go thru to deliver my gson,he also had to lift her body after getting into a few different positions,glad it was a good healthy outcome for both of you

That was such a crazy scary birth story. But she is so precious and cute!! Isla looks so much like Kinsley!! Malibu was so cute when you guys got home she was so excited!!

She absolutely gorgeous. OMG She is Kinsley Twin. I love you guys. I also love the name!! I came out with the cord around my neck also when I was born, and I have a leaky heart valve. Thank god momma and baby is ok!!

Omg kaylee you poor thing that is so scary, I know the feeling my son had his umbilical chord wrapped around his shoulders and neck 3 times and I had 20 people rush into my room cause he was turing purple, this happened 8 years ago today, it's my sons birthday here in Australia

Something similar happened to me while giving birth to my youngest boy.i kept passing out while I was pushing.and cord was wrapped around his neck.when he finally came out he was healthy as can be.i needed an iron infusion too

Oh, she is so precious. I am so sorry that you had to go through such a scary experience and so happy that it turned out so well for all of you and little Isla. When my niece had her 2nd baby the cord was wrapped around her neck and I had to get in her face and yell at her to quit pushing because the Dr. was telling her to stop so he could get the cord unwrapped and she was so focused that she didn't hear him. Her first baby was born 5 weeks premature and he only weighed 5 pounds something and we were all used to 8 pounds and up so we had to make sure we didn't toss him over our shoulders when we burped him 😁. He was a little anemic and was in the incubator for a little while but got to go home in a normal amount of time. Her third baby had a bowel movement during birth and they said luckily she only swallowed it and didn't inhale it because if she would have inhaled it they would have to clean out her lungs and she might have had breathing problems and they would have had to keep her in the hospital. When she was coming out her head was green and it scared me so much. I asked the Dr. what was wrong and he told me. She is in her 20's now and I have joked with her about what her first meal was, needless to say, she doesn't find it funny. LOL! Can't wait for your next video. I hope you guys get some rest.
