Rochelle (Tichina Arnold) discovers that Julius (Terry Crews) has been hiding a credit card from her. Her friends think he could be hiding a secret family, but the truth is so much better. (Season 2 Episode 16).

But try telling this to the banks, credit cards companies and the people.
It basically is money. The way I think of credit is a method of deferring your expenses until later. You still have to pay them but just not right now. But it is still access to capital.

This show looks like it was based in the 70’s. A nice expensive wedding ring in the 70’s were around the $500 price range and took him 7 years to pay off means he was paying between $6 to $10 per month within the means from a minimal wage job…

Julius hiding the there for card was the best thing he did for his family because he knew Rochelle would’ve maxed out the card. But when Rochelle found out the real reason, the look on her face was priceless.
