    Nothing is as good as growing in ground but when I put my clay soil in a pot the plant dies 😅

      Yes, this is interesting I have done that too! I think it’s because the clay retains water - I use a blend of finely shredded pine bark mulch and leaf gro (leaf compost)

      Try adding small amounts of clay and mix it well with your potting mix. Clay retains a lot of water but it also retains a lot of nutrients so having a little if it it’s actually very beneficial to the plant. NPK isn’t the only nutrient a plant needs to survive, they need 21 nutrients, clay contains lots of those nutrients.
