RESPECT FROM HIGHFIELDS LEICESTER. MOAT BOYS RULE OK.😮
I Roy is the one that inspired me, he's been my God Father, live till we meet and part no more
I - Roy was one of the Greatest Muscian. They don't make these kind of great music anymore.
I recall my Jamaican uncle who is now 81 and living in Jamaica. I remember him saying that he used to see Iroy pull up outside Count Suckles club the Q club in Paddington London in the seventies In his brand new Ford Capri and jump out in his fur coat with his pretty blonde girlfriend at the time.
Great music
From 60 old Wembley boy, perfect tunes xx
Quality with a personal touch
His best song imo is sidewalk killer
President Saddat got to be his biggest hit in my opinion.
Am listing to the Legend, who is with me March 2021, vha pfe vhukoni and thandanda ( listen to his poetry and instrumental hay)
Nice selection... So much poetry and style in one man, I Roy pon top! #1️⃣
All respect to Daddy Roy..........this guy (I Roy) was the smoothest, most fluid DJs from the rock jamdown. I’m not going to compare but his poetry and delivery was impeccable. The irony is that he never got the recognition that he deserved.
is true he deserve recognition, the guy will rock u
YOU KNOW DI TING IAHA!
I-Roy was described in one biography in comparison with his contemporaries U-Roy, Al Capone and Big Youth as being the most "intellectual" of the lot lyrically speaking...🎼🎶📻
@@lawrencenjawe9875 Yeah man! The mighty poet I-Roy was from the begining my favourite reggae Artist. "Musical Shark Attack" is a classic album, with I-Roy smoothly riding on heavy Sly and Robbie rythms.
@@OtheDaddy True 👍 There are also all-time favorites of mine like Heart of Lion.... Problems of life is great...Deep and Heavy and Forward la from the Fantastic Hell and Sorrow album.🎵🎶🎤
R.i.p.i roy❤😂🎉
When I was 8yrs., I admired both I-Roy and U-Roy. Both had great hits.
Love this, and thank you.
Sweeeet
No disrespect to Vybz kartel Alkaline etc but Iroy Uroy were the Don's of the original Dancehall.
Alka what?
Daddy roy rip
O heavy metal e hard rock sempre fez minha cabeça, + o sagrado chacundum reggae dub dancehall soundsystem faz minha cabeça e coração 🇧🇷🔊🎵🎶😎♥️🌿🌎⭐👍👏😃
OBVIOUSLY A GREAT DJ. TAKING IN ACCOUNT HIS LYRICS, RIDDIMS UPON HE TOAST AND ONE OF THE RARE DJ WHO WORK FOR THE MOST PRODUCERS
Powerful I Roy on a wire.Did not Copy U Roy.Most Jamaican Artists Sound . Alike. No Disrespect to the Great U Roy.Believe me.Personally I Roy Is Better than U roy.lyrically And Any how you want it.The Greatest Poet that Ever lived.
i agree
No competition man. Just variety.
Canice Osuagwu his sound was like “ u Roy”. He didn’t copy him, he was a talented poet and in my opinion, he was the best. U Brown and rankin Trevor has the same sound.
Ouhta sight dread!
Good vibez here
Bun dutty dancehall them yah name music
Sensacional d+ i - Roy + u - Roy também é pedrada pura, resumindo curto muito o som dos dois ✊🎶🎵🔊🇧🇷😎🌃🕸️⭐🌎🌟👍👏🙌

Man does it really matter just enjoy weather I-ROY or U-ROY
Tops, just tops.
Ya man
The mon called I Roy
I wouldn't know the difference Iroy and Uroy sound alike just like Bushman and Luciano.
There so many patterns in reggae. Its worth a study one of these days. Even the names.
Whapin bapin capn
Delory Wilson
Not a bad selection but personally I agree with 3,4 and 9 but for the other 7 there is better.
Personally I think I-Roy needs at least a top 50.....
Right and exact. "Musical Shark Attack" is a Top Rank album. And there is "World On Fire", "The Genreral"," Presenting I-Roy", ... all superb albums. I-Roy remains my #1 reggae artist!
Interessante
Sounds exactly like U-Roy.
no ,sounds exactly like big youth
No he sounds like himself
Sounds like I Roy
i am home fam. Don-D
G-man is my father

Flashhitt. Man, I-Roy is a coool DJ operator.. ('But him imitate the great U-Roy, an' him can' stand welding') lol
What about the Halff??
how does I Roy imitate U Roy when U Roy is Ewart Beckford and I Roy is Roy Sammuel Reid? take a good listen 2 different Voices and style both lyrically inclined.
Yeah no I agree, both DJ's have a distinct style. I was pulling a quote from Prince Jazzbo on the soundclash tune 'Straight to I-Roy's Head' ... As you might know this was a friendly rivalry among friends.
@@davidbezat99 "Straight to Jazzbo's Head"!
