- This song is probably my favourite from Fallen Embers. When I played the album, I found myself wanting to give this song more of an upbeat feel while also still staying true to the original feel. Hope you enjoy this drum remix!
Lately, I've been trying to make my drumming style and content more "mine" and bring more of my own personal touch to it. I want to start introducing it to my channel with a new camera angle. I really like what you did with the bridge build-ups to the chorus, really fit how I thought that section should have went in the original instead of just 4 on the floor. I also thought you did a good job not going overkill on fills, especially in areas where the song kinda lulls and you could easily throw in a few rolls and flourishes, but you kept it simple and that worked with how you decided to play the rest of the track. Really well done. Your snare sounds crazy crisp and almost like it has a secondary hit, so it's super clear in the mix. Good shit.
