I have just had my top surgery 1 week ago and they removed the drains the day after surgery.
I have been lucky, no pain, no swelling not even bruises.
And I have dogs that need walking everyday so I have been more or less fully mobil sense my surgery, even the 3 day after surgery I was moving around XD
This is my experience, which I'm happy about.
The binder is a little tight but that's about it.
i have top surgery in 255 days (not counting or anything 😅) so i’m watching loads of these videos. thank you for posting this!
Congrats on your surgery! I hope everything went okay and you're doing great!
My dr had post op binder no drains . I am from deep river Ontario near Ottawa .
Have a back scratcher lol
Movies
Books
Dry shampoo
Came from Alex's video.✌🏼💙
Same
Interesting how some surgeons use post op binders and some use bandages. I wonder which is better, or more comfortable.
Never use bandages, binders are the best way to go. In the end neither are really “good” for you but binders are way better. Never use tape because you can do a lot more damage to yourself, plus I find binders personally more comfortable and easier
@@t0x1c.r35 they’re talking about post surgery to manage the wounds, not pre surgery
@@anvilm3861 Ik the binder is better
my doctor is going to use ace bandage i bought a pre opp binder and ask if he can use it instead
I'm a trans masc caregiver, looking to work with fellow trans people, but I'm still pre-op so I don't know all of these important tools. Thank you so much for the help!!
Thanks Harrison, this video was very helpful. I'm planning for mine in July so these are great tips for getting ready
this is the most helpful checklist video ive found so far thank you!
I am glad you did this video because not a lot of trans people talk about what they use for top surgery and for people who don’t know what to get to during top surgery and you are looking good harry keep it up much love for you harry💙🧡❤️💚
3 months in counting !
so excited
Thankyou 🙏🏾
what do i do 😭 im really horrible at swallowing pills (like they just dont go down- i gag n throw up) but if i dont take pain meds i know ill be in agony- do you know of any other ways i can get rid of the pain without pills?
That voice boy 😍
im getting top surgery in just over a month so im watching so many videos on it
i can’t swallow pills so r there liquid Or chewable alternatives for the stronger pain killers? I have chewable ibuprofen already but I’m assuming I’m gonna need stronger meds the first few days
There are, you'll just have to speak to your surgeon about it. There's liquid morphine & paracetamol at least that I know of, surely other liquid painkillers.
Why socks
check out Alex Bertie’s latest video he talks about you a bit
Good job Harrison. You are looking great. Not sure if you are following FTM Harvard man here, you might like, now competing on men's swim team see Transgender Swimmer and his teammate (in youtube).
Hhi..uu could use oral rogaine .and hair transplant could transfer hair from your head to your face.do it
Compression socks?? What the heck lol. I never used those. Idk why you would need those 🤔
It can be very helpful with the blood flow in your feet and legs. They're not absolutely necessary and most people don't use them, but if you're going to be sitting/lying down for a long time, they can be nice to have.
Yo... This hormones are no joke
Are you ever regretting doing this?
