  • Marvin has recently decided to change up the names for their windows, so there is less confusion. The original line of windows and doors was just called “Marvin Windows and Doors.” These included their solid wood doors and windows and the wood core windows and doors with aluminum cladding.
They also had a line called Integrity Windows and Doors with a fiberglass core with wood cladding on the interior. They also had a line that was solid fiberglass with no wood classing called Integrity All-Ultrex.
In 2019, they rebranded, bringing all of the lines under the name Marvin. They have renamed the types of windows and doors and added a few new lines as well.

Finally a comprehensive video, I've been struggling to understand the differences between the models but this cleared everything up, you nailed it, appreciate the effort that went into this, very helpful as I make some very expensive decisions :)!

This was so helpful!! I've read stuff online, but you really summarized and compared these Marvin products in a concise and clear manner. Going with the signature line

Thanks- we found that combining all of the clips helped explain the different options better.

We are going for a clean modern look. What is better, Modern for Essential? Cost?

It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you want no divided lights and paint grade appearance on the interiors then essential is a good deal. I would have the dealer go over the options and price them out both ways. I've seen some higher end lines from Marvin come in less than expected based on a unique configuration.

Their products are still the same- they just renamed them.

  • @jochimbenschneider1915

No no! Elevate has real wood pine in the interior.

Correct- that is what they mentioned in the video.

I hate modern. I’m going traditional.
