- Thanks for visiting my channel. Now I will make a boat using chicken wire, resin and fiber. The shape is like a rubber boat because I have long dreamed of having my own boat that looks like a rubber boat. I hope you like this video and I hope you get an idea of how I did it. It looks great so far, but ..., First off when working with wire like that use metal cutting shears, and make all wire attachment points using hog rings, or C-clips, (hog ring pliers, and s/s hog rings are very cheap). Also, an easy way to make it unsinkable, would be to fill it with ping pong balls, toy ball pit balls, or even tennis balls (although those would add a lot of weight to the boat). one last tip, You could even possibly consider incorporating, or using some vinyl billboard material, (and a glue called HH-66, for the seams). It could make an easy, and very light weight floor for the boat.

В принципе можно использовать пластиковую сетку. Спасибо за идею. Да и нужно на части делить объём лодки.
надо чтоб дно жестко держало оба конца , иначе их скрутит на волне и порвет

Maybe you could fill it with expanding foam or packing peanuts as a safety measure so it won't sink if a hole develops. 🤔

That's hardware cloth. Chicken wire is much flimsier and has much larger mesh. Significant cost difference as well.

What kind of paper are you using?
Hours thinking, I can literally design a car motor or a electronic device on minutes but I was not able to think about chicken wire lul
And wow a young man that knows fiber made things need to stay on the surface .
And not made to be permanently scattered on the ocean floor
А во внутрь надо было пены задуть, что добавило бы плавучести и в случаи пробития лодка не наберёт воды.

Idea lang sir ha, mas maganda sana kung tinodo mona yung pag resin at fiber na naka brace in between sa gitna para flooring. Para yung tibay ng resin at fiber ay kapit for more strength sa scruture. But idea kulang po. Excited ako sa part 2 on how you finish it. Hehehe.

U should make the bow narrow and more rise angle

Great video! Did you Cyanoacrylate glue (Super Glue) for the initial fiberglass tacking? Also what weight fiberglass cloth did you use? How many layers did you end up applying?

можно пену задуть. тогда пробой не так страшен будет. Я не пойму, зачем в пластике копировать надувнушку?
Pure genius! I never thought of using chicken wire! Is the first layer on the chicken wire tissue paper then add resin then fiberglass then resin again? Just wondering how sturdy it is after the resin and fiber glass cloth has harden. Looking forward to Part 2! Like/Subscribe/Bell

Десять слоев. Газеты..прочность. Надёжность. ! Для лодки. Хватит. Пяти слоев. Обычной. Газеты большого формата. !!
