Some souls have never left those battlefields some are still fighting their spirits need to be at peace the fields that were once scarred are now healed
theres a battlefield i went to recently (i went to vimy ridge, passchandale and ypres too) called beaumont-hamel the battlefield consisted of communication trenches with an open battlefield. A caribou statue pointing to the german side of invasion against the Newfoundlander battalion regiments I learnt about the battle and was devastated. it was pouring rain too and you could see the trenches were full of mud and water up to your sock lvl. Absolute genocide battle for the Canadian/British soldiers
There is one word to describe this : Pain. These boys gave everything they had, and for 50% it was enough, the wounded, those who lost their legs and arms had their life ruined. If God does not exist, may eternity justify their pain.
I believe that in my family, my grandpa fought in ww1, I didnt meet him since it's too long, im a brazilian while my dad is brazilian but my dad's grandpa was italian, maybe during ww1 we have fighting history? No idea, ww2? I dont think any of us fought on it and i think it's true.
People like my great great grandfather who was 7,4 went into battle to never see his wife or kids again and fought for Germany lost in war august pischke🇩🇪 1874-1915
It's crazy that it's been so long, alot of our great great grandfathers fought. Mine and his son, died in the last month of the war protecting him from a very pointless war.
@@agilang_imperyo indeed, many of the countries hadn't fought wars since napoleon, many had never seen cars, or planes. Now suddenly you are thrust into bloody, disease ridden, trenches full of your dead friends and fellow soldiers, you are constantly attacked by dnimies you cannot see, cannot fight back agianst. And worst of all, unlike ww2, literally no one knew what to do, nor to expect when facing this new combat.
They gave their sanity, soul and body for their flag.
In other words... *E V E R Y T H I N G*
they were so loyal you cant expect that from modern soldiers
They were the last true men in my opinion

Two bullets, Two deaths, Caused 2 world wars.

The mental things and physical things they went through left them scarred for life 😢

2 of my great great grandfathers fought in WW1.
One in Verdun on the French side.
The other in the Marne, Russia and Romania on the German side
Same! One a second lieutenant and his son 15 years old, he died protecting his son in the final month of the war. Very pointless suffering...
It's not only the video it's the sensation that it provokes
they went as they came
Had an ancestor who sailed to France on the American side.
He never came back home.
War is a psychological disorder
