"My opinion for eating disorder, because I had a friend who was eating disordered, she always looked unhappy. She was never comfortable, confident with her body, even though she was so tiny. So, my opinion is just eat healthy and eat well, (eat) what you want and then exercise regularly to maintain your body. It's so easy, it's so simple. Just be confident with yourself."

"It's not only about outside beauty, it's mostly inside beauty, and I found that all the candidates (in) 77 countries they were such a nice persons inside. (They are) so beautiful. Even if you are beautiful but you don't have (a) brain... if you don't know how to be beautiful you can't be. If you have confident and then brain (you will know) how to look beautiful (and) how to express yourself, everyone can be beautiful."

NEW MISS UNIVERSE LOOKS AHEAD TO YEAR LONG REIGN
Japan's Riyo Mori said on Tuesday (29MAY07) she will be true to herself in her yearlong reign fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS as Miss Universe.
In an interview with The Associated Press just hours after she was crowned, the 20-year-old dancer said she would not change in her new role.
Mori, wearing a shimmering silver dress said she was a natural person who loved making others happy.
Under pageant rules, women crowned Miss Universe become advocates for AIDS/HIV research and education.
Mori showed some natural poise Monday in her first moments as Miss Universe, catching the diamond-and-pearl-studded crown that slipped off her head when Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera crowned her.
Mori immediately placed the headpiece - valued at 250,000 US dollars (186,000 euro) - back on her head.
The new Miss Universe also criticised crash dieting.
"I had a friend who was eating disordered, she always looked unhappy, Mori said.
"She was never comfortable, confident with her body, even though she was so tiny. So, my opinion is just eat healthy and eat well, what you want and then exercise regularly to maintain your body. It's so easy, it's so simple. Just be confident with yourself," she added.
The only other time Japan has won the pageant was in 1959, when Akiko Kojima became the first Miss Universe from Asia.
Since then, several women from the region have worn the crown.
Mori, from the small town of Shizuoka at the base of Mount Fuji, won the cheers of the Mexico City audience when she opened her interview with "Hola, Mexico!"
The daughter of a dance school operator, Mori said her grandmother told her as a child that she wanted her to be Miss Japan before she turned 20.
She wants to someday open an international dance school in Tokyo.
The winner of the pageant travels the world for a year on behalf of AIDS education, charities and pageant sponsors.
