All things will fall at the same acceleration regardless of their mass, it was proven on the Apollo mission aswell. However each objects inside an atmosphere, they can encounter different magnitude of air resistance, cats falling from a high place can give them time to spread their legs and position themselves like parachutes to maximize air resistance thus slowing the delta as they fall.

yeah everything falls at the same acceleration but bigger things get more momentum as they fall, so small things never really build up enough momentum to reach that critical fall speed. which is why if an ant ever fell off a tall building it wouldnt die because it cant fall fast enough

The acceleration is different depending on an object's mass. I think what Jake is referring to here is the terminal velocity (the top velocity of an object) which also depends on mass. So if you're lighter you literally fall slower at top velocity.

The speed at that you fall is the same as long as the resistance you get from the air is the same, the weight of you doesn't matter it only makes you hit the ground harder
