He definitely had a rollercoaster season this year with highs and lows
It wasn't helped that Ridley became completely unreliable. He did great his first 1-1/2 games, then dropped 50% of his balls from there onward.... Some were game breakers. At least 3 to 4 of that season's losses go to dropped balls and Ridley was by far the worst of them in that regard.... By the time Ridley started doing good in the 4th quarter of the season, it was already too late. Lawrence lost most of his faith in him, the center O-lineman was so bad that he was making the entire interior O-line look bad which cause Lawrence to get injured, and our best receiver in Kirk was injured....
Jaguars need to fix their offensive line and their pass rushers if they want a chance next season Trevor still has all the tools to be great.

Trevor is good. He just needs more consistent success like he had late 2022.
The Jaguar offense wasn't the same after Christian Kirk went out for the rest of the season with an injury.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him regress though if those things arent put in place properly and who even knows if dougy p really still has it to me the entire szn he looked uninterested every game i watched of them
@@LZ21- He is overrated. Ever since high school he has been hyped up and he just isn’t an elite qb, he’s barely an average qb.
Trevor Lawrence is a monster as he played one of the best seasons of his career. He finished with 4,016 yards, 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He only missed a game due to his injury.
21 touchdowns (16th) and 14 Interceptions(4th most) doesnt scream "monster". Being 10th in passing yards behind Baker Mayfield, C.J. Stroud, and Jordan love, doesn't scream generational like they claimed he was. I get the dude was injured but hes gotta get some things figured out.
No, his passing yards are better than his touchdowns and interceptions.

You know what even though we missed the post season I’m a believer in Trevor I’d rather keep him for many years to come than look for a new QB get him some protection and a better OC. Doug Pederson was way too aggressive going for it on 4th down all year.

How could you be a jags fan and even question if Trevor is our guy… Hey dip sh*t what about the horrendous play calling and O-Line? Press Taylor would be sacked. Trevor is not the problem.
@@GreenDbzi can’t argue with that if the oline played with any ounce of aggression the. They would have been the team to beat in the AFC just proves that the game is won in the trenches hopefully the niners can pull it off tomorrow
He's a great QB and is only 24, if the jags can rebuild their o-line in the off season they can win the AFC south

Lots of comments about Trevor's abilities. He may have a flaw or 2, but the Jaguars made the playoffs when Trevor was uninjured (2022). When Trevor was injured, Jags missed the playoffs (2023).
He definitely makes a difference for the Jaguars.
And they missed it by one overthrow in the final game
To include with his injury, Zay and Kirk were out or barely health those last 8 games as well.
ah yes the new Matthew Stafford. The official next generation "do you know ball" check. Casuals will look at the numbers without context and yap about how he is a bust, etc. Really hope the Jags figure out their staff and roster situation to give this kid a fair shot to show his unreal talent level, instead of wasting his career like the Lions did Stafford.

He has his flaws. He needs to be a better decision maker (i.e. taking easy checkdowns instead of throwing into coverage) and throw with a bit more touch. But I agree with you, he's an unreal talent, but injury ruined this season for him. Even though his numbers weren't great, he played at an elite level the 1st half of the season and had me feeling like the Jags were true AFC contenders. The best is yet to come. People need to pump the brakes on defining the legacy of these QBs....for the most part, they're all years away from being 30....except Rodgers, Stafford, Dak, Cousins, and Russ

Sadly Trevor Lawrence really fumbled down the stretch , not entirely is on him but his offense let him down and they lost 4 of their last 5 games and missed the playoffs after going 8-3
And our win was against Carolina with our backup qb lol

Bro Trevor was basically playing worth half his body parts. Kirk, Agnew, jones were always injured. Ridley can’t catch. Atn was always questionable. Top cb Tyson Campbell was injured. The dline was hurt bro there is no shot ur blaming trevor

Defense really sold the latter half of the season. One win other than Carolina and it was playoffs, but when you let the bucs and bengals put up 30+ it’s a tough road.
A healthy Christian Kirk and Zay Jones is our 1 and 2
imo give trevor 2 or 3 more years and if he isnt a top qb go for arch manning in future draft

Well here I am just before the draft in 2024 and we know at this point Calvin is gone… and half of these highlights are between Trevor and Calvin… I hope Trevor falls in love with Gabe Davis and Zay Jones stays healthy..
Exactly man we really messed up but honestly I see where they come from. Trevor depended allot on Calvin and honestly most of the time he wasn't open when others were so I hope bringing in Davis for big plays he is big enough to grab unlike Calvin. I'm hoping the cat we got from the ravens will give us the dynamics we may lose from losing Calvin

He'll never be top tier because all he knows is throwing a laser. If you can't float a ball to a spot, you're goings to be littered with overthrows and interceptions. 3 overthrows alone on that last drive cost them a playoff spot.

He’s still got 1 more year on his rookie contract so you see what he does next year and then decide. And Walker wasn’t even bad this year he had 10.5 sacks and is a great run stopper

How are these highlights? He had more good passes against good coverage against the Browns than the entire season. The rest were runs, passes to wide open receivers (5 or more yards separation), or bad passes that got lucky. I mean, those underthrows were what people claimed Mac Jones was doing. This guy is such a bust

He has had one of the worst offensive lines but is the leagues 2nd quickest QB to get the ball out and still makes some of these wow throws. Just imagine if he had the time without a defender in his face every throw. He played through 4 different injuries this past year. Not saying he’s generational yet but definitely has the potential.
