- Why does Eminem regret dissing Britney Spears? Eminem dissed Britney's music calling it garbage and mocked her singing skills. His daughter Hailie listened to Britney Spears, and Eminem wasn't a fan of that. He recently explained that the reason he always dissed pop stars like Britney is that people were always calling him a pop rapper. Eminem said that his critics used to dismiss him as a rapper by calling him pop. He got really mad about that, and lashed out at all the pop stars. Britney, however, has always shown love to Eminem, when Eminem kept dissing her she called him a genius artist and recently said that she was blown away by Eminem's Super Bowl performance, she believes he should have been given way more time to perform during the show.

This is why Britney has the army of fans that she does. Regardless of how she was dressed ( by her handlers) she always behaved in the CLASSIEST way and only showed love when others showed hate. She has a beautiful heart despite what she's been through.

Looking back, it seems like Britney has always taken the high road and remained polite to everyone, even when some didn’t deserve it, like Justin Timberlake, Eminem and people who criticize her singing. I was always a big Eminem fan but it’s hilarious him calling Britney Spears a bad role model for young girls but his music is way worse for young fans. I was in middle school when I bought his first cd and would play it non stop and I remember my mom being horrified when she heard his lyrics. People can say, his target audience was adults and Britney’s target fans were kids but that doesn’t matter, he is well aware that many, many many of his fans were kids and he even made a song talking about it, I think it’s called “just like me” or at least those are some of the lyrics. It’s just hilarious for him to criticize Britney calling her a bad influence when in reality that’s him. I still love em and I respect him for admitting when he was wrong
