Original Airings of Barney & Friends Episodes: 3, 5, and 13 Dated From April 1992 Extremely Rare!

Here are three of the original airings of Season 1 of Barney & Friends, dated all the way back from April 1992. This contains episodes such as Playing It Safe, Eat Drink And Be Healthy!, and Alphabet Soup! While these episodes did receive a release on home video through a mail order by Time Life, what makes these unique compared to other uploads online of the first season of Barney & Friends, is that these are the actual original airings of the episodes when it was first shown to the public back in the day. And these seem to be the oldest tv recordings of Barney & Friends on the internet.
Which is really uncommon for Season 1 as Barney wasn’t really that popular until around July of 1992, so recordings of the original premieres of the first season are extremely rare to come across. I managed to find these original airings on a playlist of VHS recordings by archive.org user waymu which were posted on May 23, 2023. The user upscaled the recordings to 60fps, so the Frame-rate is left untouched. Unfortunately there’s no recording of the original premiere of the very first Barney & Friends episode, The Queen of Make Believe, as that has yet to surface anywhere online. So for now, these are the earliest tv recordings of Barney & Friends on the internet, in existence! Which are episodes 3, 5, and 13. So enjoy these fascinating rare pieces of Barney and children’s television history.

That "crowd booing" sound effect heard in the Little Red Riding Hood play kinda reminded me of BigJon's Price is Right game, where the same sound effect was used if you didn't get the big wheel all the way around. Now I know where BigJon got his sound effects; from Barney. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've wondered if there's an original recording of the first episode floating around somewhere because these original 1992 recordings before Barney's popularity exploded may turn out to be interesting.
And I wonder if one of you can upload more about Barney like the behind the scenes footage of Barney's Talent Show for the Happy Dancing number in his tap dancing outfit (top hat 🎩, bow tie, shirt cuffs, and the dancing shoes 👞 with the dancing cane). Maybe Barney's First Adventures on Fox Kids 1998 in the month of March and Barney's Big Surprise with pledge breaks during the broadcast version on KCET 2000.

This is really cool that I'm seeing those original airings that has not been seen or posted online for a very long time.
I never remember these episodes until I bought Playing IT Safe VHS tape when I was a little girl. This episode helped me learn the safety rules of the car and seat belts and avoiding strangers! I won’t post this comment on CZcams if I watch videos without posting the comments on CZcams because that’s like getting in trouble for talking to strangers.
