Always keep a little emergency food in your pack Kseniia for mornings like that when you could not find any open restaurants.
I'm quite shocked at how so many towns make no effort to clean up their streets. There are many ways it can be done without too much expense. Community programs, public service for convicts, offer a few pennies for each bag full a kid brings to the dump, or even just hire a couple of guys with a garbage truck. They spend millions to pad their pockets but don't take care of their towns. It's a shame.
As for waving, In Canada every biker across the country waves except Quebec bikers. They never wave!

Very good, make sure you use good amount of natural mosquito repellents, these countries are dengue infested, my friend recently got dengue fever in Mexico. Guatamala is beautiful, and your English is pretty good 👍 Cheers

I enjoyed Lanquin. I actually had lunch at your hotel, down by the river...was really nice there. I stayed in the Jungle at a place that had cabins, it was near the cave exploration place and waterfalls. Did you get a chance to ride through the mountains in that area - that was some of the best riding. very small villages where women were drying cocao and making different chocolate products for sale - amazing rides out there. Thanks for the video to spark memories :)
