      @@mac212 Yea he is pretty awesome. He does a ton of locks with an arm in. And then inside or outside trips from all angles. That is a really good style for MMA. If someone taught him how to leg kick and box, and then defend Muay-Tai and Jiu-Jitsu. He would be a top 5 UFC fighter.

    In the Camacho-Latona match can someone please explain how he gives the TD at 1.6s remaining, puts hand out for the one count at 0.6 seconds, and somehow it becomes a 2pt near fall???

    • @armenamirkhanyan2710
      @armenamirkhanyan2710 Před 3 lety

      The ref is human, not a computer. It didn't even matter anyway so why do you care

    • @casstom
      @casstom Před 3 lety

      Because he started the NF count at the sametime he scored the 2pt takedown. It takes a second for the ref to hold up the two pt. take down (that's one sec.), the swipe of the hand was actually count two, buzzer sounds, there's your two NF. And there is nothing in the rulebook saying refs. have to strike out NF. We do it as a curtsey and to keep coach from arguing every NF point (could you imagine coaches flipping out on a ref that counts NF in his head?). Point is, always give refs a one or two second cushion for points we've seen and acknowledged in our heads but haven't called outloud. The brain needs time to send the message to the body to stick some fingers up and say "that's two!"

    • @ncsttsccr
      @ncsttsccr Před 3 lety +1

      @@armenamirkhanyan2710 well it did matter, it ended up being the difference in the team score... Went to third criteria which is total team points and virginia tech ended up winning by one point on that criteria... The two back points awarded were the difference between virginia tech winning or losing the dual and winning the ACC regular season championship

    • @ncsttsccr
      @ncsttsccr Před 3 lety

      @@casstom I always thought the count started when ref brings arms to chest? That happens at 1.6s? How do you know he started it in his head? By your argument refs actually start counting on their head before making signal so then they have to manually speed up their count to make up for that each time but I'm not sure that's accurate because his count from arm in to out is exactly one second. His second count (arm in and back out again) is exactly one second again, it just so happens that occurs after horn but 2 points are still given. It sure seems to me the count was timed correctly but points were given after horn sounded incorrectly.
