I was just a normal office worker and my life was just work! work! work! There was never time to play guitar.
As a result of circumstances that have changed our world, I now work from home, and my daily 4hr commute has come to an end.
With more time and energy, I decided to start my CZcams Channe in June 2021 to make new friends with similar interests.
So why am I dressed like a Viking?
I wanted to do something fun and creative with my channel, so I came up with the “Viking" concept, an adventurer who’s always searching for the ultimate pleasure tone.
I don’t know everything about guitar. I’m just a normal guy who appreciates guitar hero’s like Reb Beach, Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani stretching back 30 years.
My goal is to uncover mysteries, share techniques, discover new gear, share my live show experience and involve you in the excitement.
I hope you’ll join the journey with me to explore the ultimate pleasure tone!

The thing with current Yngwie, is that, while not as perfect or consistent as we ve seen him before. His style comes across despite his age and difficulty, wich is a real treat in itself. And to me, he's always dropping some new things, that for many are mistakes or dreadful feats, but i tend to feel taught soomething by him, even if he doesnt do it on purpose. And how s he not going to notice that? Simple. He s being free, little by little, playing what comes at hand at the moment. He only rehearse things in order to keep his chops, but go in for the kill at live situation, and allows himself to face the consequences of phucking things up or getting away with something unexpected. Thats the ultimate act of bravery from current Yngwie, if u ask me. Forget his perfection years, his fearless years are here, hes not a role model at guitar, while still having a technique many would kill to attain, but he's having fun, he aint seeking forgiveness, and sure as hell has nothing to prove to anyone. He s not for everyone, so PHUCK the nitpickers and his dissapointed fans, they're not in Yngwie s concern anymore. Even if he doesnt please me as a fan or via the listening experience, hes still one of a kind. im in awe just to see him keep going on at this point.

I couldn't believe Yngwie's playing when I heard Alcatrazz in the mid-80's. The songs, Graham Bonnet's vocals. Amazing. The Steeler album, nobody had heard anything like Yngwie's intro solo to Hot on your heels. Randy Rhoads is my favorite player, musician, since Blizzard of Ozz. When I heard Yngwie's playing with Alcatrazz, I couldn't believe it. Randy, if he was still with us, could have done an incredible project with Yngwie.

I love 43:25 described as guitar solo. Thats really different from rest of show :p great recording of great show, and best of all - another live performance of "Brothers", i love this song, it makes me feel like Yngwie is crying through his guitar missing his brother Bjorn who died in train accident.

The keyboard guy is still going strong! Yngvie is also playing very well. You either like the playing (and the "let's play guitar instrumentals") or you don't, but he is fun to listen to every now and then.

Wish he played Brothers when he came to Singapore on March. Could listen to it for years and i'll still have the same emotional feeling. Still great to see him play Far Beyond the Sun and Blackstar in person. My dad was complaining to me and his friends on why he never played Viking😂

@@ALTheGuitarViking Slayer had them stacked to the ceiling, of course, all fake as well. They each had one rack of… well, all the FX you don’t need for playing Slayer.
Only Manowar used to play stacks and stacks and then more stacks - I know that for sure, since I had to lug their stuff around at a festival I played at and was compensated for by being stagehand for everyone 😂

I met Yngwie before an Alcatrazz show in Portland, Oregon. He was a virtually unknown but wildly talented kid fresh off the boat from Sweden. He was actually pretty cool, not yet the egomaniac he was to become. That being said, he STILL shreds, so good for him.

Wow what a concert. I’ve seen him 2x. Once was on Halloween night in a venue the size of a doctors office. I caught 2 picks and my ears seriously hurt ffor a week plus. I lost my hearing temporarily. 😂 Just saw Satch and vai last month. I wish they would do a G3 again with this guy. :(. Dudes king. 😮

He sells out 3000 seaters too - Italy sold out 3000 seats each night, UK 2500 sold out list goes on... Artists play whatever is available as they go through cities or do filler shows it's not a big deal. Only emphasize on the fact that you got to watch a legend most people don't get to see.

ライジングフォースのオープニングは感動しました。
ただ、後の２曲目は、曲名はおろか、曲もわからず「最近の曲だよなー」と少し、凹んでました。
でも、この動画で、あらためてみると、「やっぱり、すげーな」と感じました。
私もこのライブのある「一曲」の動画を、頭だけ上げました。美味しいところで、切りました。
もっと世間にイングヴェイを知ってもらいたくて、彼を応援しているので。。
この夏に発売されるジャパンライブのブルーレイの宣伝のつもりです。
結局聴きたいのはライジングフォース、アイルシーザライトトゥナイト、ユードントリメンバーあたりなんですよね～最近の曲を演るぐらいならマザーレスチャイルドとかマジックミラーを演ってほしい笑
