There are going to be a good amount of characters who unfortunately will not become playable characters in Smash.
But it's still interesting to think about what kind of move sets these characters can have if they were playable, so that's why I'm here today.

All other Aerials: Split up into two smaller goombas, one flying in whatever direction specified.
Grab: Stop you into the ground
Throws: Kicks foe into whatever direction
Specials: Does nothing
Ultimate: Foot stomps on you as your body covers the platform you're standing on. Anyone standing there looses a life because they touched a goomba.
I feel like some moves of kratos would be trilogy, and some moves would be 2018, not just one or the other, ya know?
Professor Layton. I can just imagine his move set using his fencing skills and having Luke in some of his taunts. If you don't believe that Layton can fight just watch the final fight of the second game and come back to me.

Moveset would be Rotom possessions various different appliances depending on the attack they use. Normally, they’d be quite fast and zappy, but they could also do some tanking in their Frost and Wash Forms.

Oh, it`s so great to have this series back!! And how expected and unexpected this moveset is (expected because of the Pokemon order and unexpected because I expected a Kirby character to be number 43)!
Honestly, this moveset makes me realize that more characters [AKA important characters that are not the protag] from Pokemon should be in this series and the one I want to see the most is my favorite character in the entire franchise, Marnie from Sword and Shield! The Pokemon I could imagine her having are Morpeko (for obvious reasons), Toxicroak and Grimmsnarl!
Edit: And you know what, how about Gym Leaders too?! Allister is a fan favorite among the Pokemon Fandom since he got announced; And heck, he`s my favorite Gym Leader of all time (which is ironic since I have Sword and not Shield)! For Smash, I could imagine him using Galarian Yamask, Either Lampent or Chandelure (I think the former might work better, albeit a slight bit) and Gengar, complete with a scary ciniematic Final Smash!

In Smash, 39 out of the 82 fighters have Cinematic Final Smashes. They became more of a standard in Ultimate due to how streamlined they could be, on top of them just being much more visually appealing.

when you eventually do a unova trainer, there's things you should note:
oshawatt's line could be based on samurai, an archetype we never seen in smash. oshawatt's scalchop could even reference a japanese war fun, used for fast strikes and defense, so you can have oshawatt be a very fast and defensive fighter
snivy's line was confirmed to be based off french royalty, with it being depicted as very graceful, elegant and even snobby. so servine can be basef around that, having very gracefully moves
tepig's line were made to look chinese and is said to be based off zhang fei from romance of the three kingdoms, an alcoholic but loyal warrior that and emboar looks like it has a wrestling, so emboar's moves can be a mixed of wrestling moves and fast and powerful strikes based on it's pokedex entries

Neutral Special: Rat Bombardier (drops a bomb KK can command)
Side special: Shoulder bash (he can dash in the air as well. Hitting an enemy, a rough wall, or any object this way will send him into a twirl.)
Up special: Scorching Saber (rises and spins with flames)
Down Special: Turn Coat (takes half damage in duration and counter attacks with three tiers of damage)
Jab: Three hit jab where KK punches, poke with his scepter and hits the enemy from higher angle. (or not)
Quick Jab: Dueling Gloves
Dash: Scepter of Swiftness (slashes forward)
Forward Tilt: Propeller Blitzsteed (stabs with it, not throws it)
Down Tilt: Gyro Ball ( Starts Spinning with extra effects on down side)
Neutral air (or taunt): Bubble Frog (he's stuck in a bubble, stays on air)
Down Air: a spinning stomp similar to the one in shoulder bash but it goes further
Forward Air: Blast roll
Back Air: Smack the opponent with scepter without knowing while he turns back
Side Smash: Healing Hammer (it's the relics/heirlooms name, wot?)
Up Smack: Brings a propeller rat while it hits the smacks the place, KK holds it and he doesn't fly.
Down Smash: Horns of Heralding (blows out horns around KK)
Down taunt: Sits on his Throne
Up taunt: Bubble frog
Side taunt: Crown almost gets off and KK wears it again.
Entrance: His entrance in level similar to Shovel Knight.
Victory animation: Animation KK does when he defeats a boss.
Colors: KK's other armor colors with The ones that resembles Joustus judges.
Don't give him a moveset he wants to make his own moveset

Why can't male and female normal costumes both have normal Pokemon colors?
A good episode could maybe act as a large special, possibly celebrating once you reach 50,000 subscribers, where you do multiple possible echo fighters for smash brothers and give them all small unique moves/final smashes. Possibly like making Blood Falcon for Captain Falcon, Baby Mario & Luigi for ice climbers, X for Mega Man, and plenty more.

using superpower and then immediately switching the pokemon a few times and back to grotle seems to be a kinda obvious exploit but id imagine itd be predictable and thus punishable?

Since we’re on the topic of Pokémon, I’d like to give my two cents about Galar ‘moms as they’re the most likely picks at the moment. Out of the starters, Cinderace is the most likely. As much as I like Rillaboom, he’d be too much like Donkey Kong and Inteleon wouldn’t stand out among the other gun wielding/sneaking characters. But Cinderace being a fiery soccer player definitely has potential. But because of the Pokémon trainers being a concept other Pokémon could have their time to shine. I’ll just cover the ones that could have potential.
Toxapex sounds most likely as it’s a fan favorite and a lot of it’s attacks could be a mix of Electric and Poison Attacks influenced by rock and roll. (Plus with its two forms, that makes alternative costumes easier)
Hatterene is another fan favorite for other reasons... but attacks wise she’d be a very aggressive and up close fighter (read her ‘Dex, she’ terrifying) with great range due to her hair while still being a Psychic type and would have options like Psychic and Moonblast.
Obstagoon is definitely an option as a fan favorite. A very defensive character that uses his arms to block and counter attacks while still fighting dirty.
And lastly is my boi Sirfetch’d who would take the meaning of a sword and shield character to the extreme. Long range with its Lance to dash and smite its foes and still be able to block and reflect projectiles whith its Shield.

I watched this video just to make a TcNick3 joke, cuz if Piplup were playable in Smash, I would not be able to imagine it in any other way. It would basically just be TcNick3 in Smash Bros at this point.
For its neutral special infernape could use close combat in the same sort of way the mii brawler uses their flurry of blows attack expect it would have a fire effect. Their side special could be flame wheel which would work a bit like a fusion of both of sonics spin dashes starting very fast with no charge required like side spin dash but dealing multi hitting damage like down spin dash

I’m guessing you’d do Decidueye as a part of the Alolan Trainer.

Kalos- Chespin, Frogadier, and Delphox
Alola- Popplio, Torracat, and Decidueye
