- Hey family! In today's video we make a good ol' country breakfast, have some unexpected weather, and make some coconut snowmen cupcakes!
Buttermilk Biscuit Recipe:
2 cups self rising flour
6 TB unsalted butter (cold)
1 cup buttermilk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Combine all ingredients and mix by hand, using a little self rising flour to keep it from sticking to your hands too much. Pinch of pieces a little bigger than a golf ball and roll into ball shape. Pat in extra flour and press slightly onto baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until bottoms of biscuits are browned. Brown the tops and spread with butter!

My Mama use to cook fresh coconut cakes and decorate with red cherries at CHRISTMAS.
THE ICING WE AS CALLED 7 minute icing and you made it in a double boiler and use fresh coconut or frozen

I do my grandma way when I do pies and cakes and baked goods when call for milk and sugar I used sweet condensed milk in place for milk and sugar. Me and my husband used sweet condensed milk in our coffee too.
The horses are beautiful. I feel like I could reach out and touch them. My husband’s family always did puzzles especially on vacation. Seeing your puzzle reminded me . I have not found the dolly cake mix but it sure looks good.

We got blasted with 5 inches of snow first was the flash freeze then ice and snow for 5 hours blizzard yes indeed 🙈 7 below zero at 9 a.m. now it is 8 p.m. there's a warm up it's 3 below zero wind chill 20 below zero, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS

Hi Falon if you ever run out of creamer try evaporated milk or condensed milk so good with evaporated you will have to add sugar but with condensed no need for sugar.

It’s fun to see the kids involvement in making them. The surprise snowman, which was adorable, matched the cupcakes ….so much fun on a rainy day.

It was a clean the house day as well. My mom broke her foot, so one of my aunts (family of 10 kids) came to clean our house today. 3 floors. 5AM to 1PM, 8 full hours non stop. Vacuum, then wet. Deep clean. My mom used to do this weekly but she usually started later and took the better part of the day for it. Grateful for good people.
