- This week, I put together a compact episode crammed with info and ideas for where to go Overlanding if you're stuck in the Midwest like me. I'm located in central IN so these are all within about 2-8 hours from my location, just FYI.

Yep! Spent several long weekends up that way. I generally come in around the Mountain WI area and explore around there.

I'm a little late to the party, but Hocking Hills in OH would be similar in drive for you. I'm an Indiana guy too!
Nice! Howdy neighbor, :D. I've heard of Hocking Hills but never been. Is there any dispersed camping there? A buddy and I went a few weeks ago and drove all over (Wayne National Forest and some of the Shawnee State Forest) and after about 5 or 6 hours, we never found any dispersed spots. To be fair, in Wayne, there were some closed gates, so maybe they just weren't open yet?
@@AllThingsOverlanding I haven't been yet. I use Gaia GPS to map my potential trips. There seem to be some quality spots, but I haven't checked yet. I am just outside of Cincy, on the Indiana side. So it isn't far for me. I'll reply back once I head out. I'll probably try to make a trip in the next month or two. I have a Grand Canyon north rim trip coming up first!
