Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Hank was prepared and fully intended to shoot at other people with a real machine gun?
Was this before or after Hank got laid? Or was that Dean, it's been a WHILE since I've watched the show.
Gun food
Can we take a moment to appreciate you an hank share the same name
Jon Ericson before
Hank Hicks can we appreciate for a moment that according to the rules of arching the Monarch is now fully able to use real guns against Venture and hasn’t.
"I'm all out of gun food!" Words of a true warrior.
"Eat it!"
"I'm all out of Gun Food!"
I just now realized that joke
lol never thought of it like that
I just realized one of the twins kissed a cross after 21 said it was hallowed ground.
+MastermindEpsilon I can't believe I never noticed that before!
+Matt Steitz what episode is this?
POWER PANCAKE Diving Bell and the Butterfly Glider
For being a parody show VB has an extremely nice eye to details like this.
Its upsetting one of those little bastards are religious. It's like he's setting up for the VIP booth in hell.
well thank god I work at a catholic hospital, guess I can scratch invasion by Monarch henchmen off the list of thigs to worry about
Also sword using, decapitation enthusiastic Immortals.
All Guild people have to follow the Hollow Ground Law. It's a longtime Guild law.
I mean, as far as his henchmen may play by the rules, the Monarch himself shown on multiple occasions that he has rather...loose approach to Guild regulations, so you may be in trouble either way
@@maxthepaladin2147 yeah he does that sometime.
@@darthlazurus4382 one of them wouldn't happen to be a Scottish fellow with a trench coat and katana?
I'm out of gun food!
Ashe Fitzgerald
Hence forth I shall refer to all ammunition as "gun food".
You'll get some strange looks at the range. Make sure you use something weird to so they can just write you off as a yuppie. Anything made by cz (relatively cheap too, but the country has some disagreements with me), or just get the ronen kit for a glock. You'll be tacti-cool
@@modakkagitplugga A Hi-point bullpup conversion works in a pinch.
You know it's bad when your mentally challenged friend calls Hank a Retard ..... And then points out how Hank and Dean are a whole new level of stupid ....
thankyou I couldn't make out what he said.
i love all the subtleties in season 1 that still carry over into other seasons, David Bowie/the sovereigns panda and the hallowed ground neutral zone to name a few
+VvVLuffy what episode is this?
POWER PANCAKE no idea honestly, i thin its part of season 4 though since hank and dean had that style during it after the clones were destroyed and the cocoon is still there,.
+POWER PANCAKE i was right season 4, its apparently called Diving Bell vs. Butterglider
***** ok mate thanks!
POWER PANCAKE its the 9th episode, man the 9th episode, god i miss when the seasons actually had that many episodes.
Idk why, but the sight of hank unloading an m60 into a flying vehicle while screaming “eat it” is hilarious to me
Chonky m60
So let's just take a moment to appreciate that Hatred is _objectively_ a better bodyguard than Brock. Brock is a supreme badass, but the boys nonetheless died _fourteen_ times under his supervision (which granted, some of that was just Hank and Dean's pure idiocy getting themselves killed) whereas Hatred had no such convenience, but he nonetheless made sure that Hank and Dean were okay.
Doc was literally shot by hatred in this episode. Then authorized a cat scan without checking with any one. But ya I still consider him a good bodyguard
The Ventures didn't leave the compound as much in season 4, that might be a contributing factor. Also, Brock's mission was to keep Rusty safe, which Hatred never really did well. Though Hatred always tried to teach Hank and Dean to stay safe, rather than just keep them safe
@@nardopol0 All the times the boys died it was on the compound so that’s not it
I mean its a little unfair given how long brock was guarding him vs how long hatred watched them for, given the same amount of time hatred would've probably had them die the same amount of times.
@@DreadBirate Not all the times, they died away from the compound a few times in the flashbacks. Also not all their deaths were even because of their stupidity, I mean a satellite crashed on them at some point.
"I'm out of gun food" is one of my favorite lines in the series and arguably the best way to say "I'm out of ammo."
I shout this in video games a lot and no one understands what im saying
Its scenes like these that male me think 21 could really be his own villian. He just needs a drive, a hatred for somebody, but he's pretty nice and understanding so I dont think it'll happen. Would be cool to see him command his own army though.
He definitely has the charisma and the ability to instill fear in both his subordinates and his enemies (at least the ones that aren’t Brock) and he’s grown fairly cunning since the death of 24.
I would thoroughly enjoy a spin-off or a continuation wherein 21 becomes the monarch or gets a new name or something after monarch gets tragically killed or moves on from arching or whatever. Can you imagine him taking a name like The Emperor Wasp or something?
How about when Malcom and Rusty reconcile as brothers? I really don't want to see him die. Also it would fit more with that open ending the creators were talking about.
Honestly, the season spent getting Monarch's level back up I thought he might make a go of it as the Viceroy, because I assume a super villain duo would have a higher number than one villain and his henchman.
@@ccggenius well actually 21 has his own villain ranking alongside the Monarchs and since the lost of the cocoon theyre more partners and friends. Plus Henchmen 21 is his villain name- since he's technically Henchmen 1 but refused to change his number by choice
@@schnoz2372 the Viceroy
So both barrels is just a euphemism for 2 motorcycle barrels ridden by midgets, apparently?
It’s the best euphemism
SO they got a base that can hover over the earth, and it has no projectile weapons at all. Can't they fly over a vehicle and drop rocks.
Slew One We know from 21 that they have fire and lasers.
Hospital indicated at least major suburb so you can't laser willy nilly.
@@jemiebridges3197 Why not? I thought they were the bad guys??
the pupae twins have molted! they are now the... butterfly twins?
it just doesn't have the zing
The Swallowtail twins!
TO THE EGG SAC!
"...Yeah, see? Kinda gross."
...Yeah. TO THE MORPHO CAVE!
Butterfly twins would be a great name for exotic dancers.
I'M OUTTA GUNFOOD
The more I watch this show the more Hank becomes a little more badass.
"I'm out of gun food" I am soooo going to say this the next time I go to the gun range.
Strange to see Hank actually use a firearm
Alterego912 not really, another episode had Hatred trying to get Hank to shoot him because he wasn't bonding with him.
It's different being begged to shoot someone you know.
You'd think with him constantly idolizing Brock, he wouldn't even want to *touch* a gun.
1:10 So wait now it's Highlander? Everyone knows they come from space so earth religions mean jack squat to them!
1TrulyMad What?
MastermindEpsilon Highlander rules that you can't fight on holy ground. Also in the second movie they turn out to be aliens. But nobody likes to talk about that, not event he filmmakers.
1TrulyMad Oh, it's just your comment made it seem like you thought the characters were aliens and I was wondering where you got that impression
MastermindEpsilon Ah it's cool. But then again with all the weird shit that goes on around them on a regular basis you'd think they'd come from Bizzaro world or something. But then again that's why I love this show, and pretty much anything else from Williams Street.
+1TrulyMad In 1995, Mulcahy made a Director’s Cut version known as the Renegade Version. The film was reconstructed largely from existing material, with certain scenes removed and others added back in, and the entire sequence of events changed. All references to the Immortals being aliens from another planet were eliminated wiki
I love how hank just gets up when the camera is zoomed out.
I know that 21 was the monarchs number 2 at that point, but I'm still amazed that the twins listen to him given how little respect they had for him before
better to be coordinated under someone you hate than to wing it
The doctor on the left at 0:58 was the one that took JJ out of Doc and lost him in season 1.
0:43
The Ventures drive off a cliff face and fall for what looks like at least a mile, but their truck is completely fine with no explanation. Was there jets or something?
Might have been a deep slope or something
Dukes Of Hazzard logic.
Well, given that Sergeant Hatred did invent an entire hover tank, I wouldn't be surprised that he had some sort of backup for the Jeep.
0:58 Dammit Hatred, I thought you were cool
Anyone else like just watching clips in order like it’s Escape to The House of Mummies but with as much context as trying to edit Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs to take place simultaneously as one big movie?
Glad to see you at least have some code and standards even if you are a villain.
Lol the difference between Hatred and Brock. No aversion to firearms.
Hank was knocked unconscious. That might have seriously caused some mental damage and considering that his memory has been wiped a few times, it's going to do something to him.
I'd be worried about the road rash too. The dad of the kid of one of my dad's girlfriends fell off of a motorcycle going 50 (they say he did it intentionally) and was so mangled that he had to have a closed coffin funeral
@@modakkagitplugga ... Not to take away from what youre saying, but there has GOT to be a better way to say your relation to the injured party was. I sat here stumbling over what you typed for 10 minutes. At first I got concerned Alabama vibes, then I realized a simpler explanation would be "Stepmoms Ex"
Nah, it's a bit hard to see but he gets up
GOD I MISS THIS SHOW!!!!! (More, Please!!) (and yes, I know a movie is coming.....)
I like hank just on the m60 blasting away
Didn't think Muppets as religious types.
HELL SPOON i guess those little psychos have their limits and respects
@devildog1982z what the different?
Know I'm late, but I think it's more of a Guild thing than it is them being religious
I like how one of the midgets pulled out a cross
At :53 then they pull the cord for the wings you can see the African American one wearing the cross if you look closely enough
I will now call Ammunition, Gun Food.
Im out of gun food!!! Lol classic!
the pupas are now butterflies
21 make good right hand
Wait doesn't this qualify as a medical emergency? Doesn't the guild have rules about that?
I'll hazard a guess and assume Hatred and the boys were already on their way to the hospital and got intercepted by the Fluttering Horde.
They can't attack Doc. They can still go after Hatred and the boys.
No did 21 tell the Pupa twins to back off due to some actual Guild ruling?
or is his nerd getting the better of him and he's channeling his inner Highlander?
It's both a Guild rule and a Highlander reference.
Yes.
Is it because The Roman Church also belongs in the Guild of Evil?
The Guild apparently plays by "Highlander" rules.
Season 4, Diving Bell vs. Butterglider
0:19 love the Full Metal Jacket reference
Oh come one Hatred you do not keep more than 1 ammo box for that gun on your jeep,
I’m outta gun food!
I very much enjoy this clip.
I'm wondering why 21 was commanding the cocoon after Dr Venture when The Monarch wasn't around. Like what is the point of harassing them if the boss isn't around to enjoy it?
Probably to tie them up somewhere
Is that a flying pinecone?
DAMN HANK WAS DUMPIN !!!!!!
+TheWestcoastDAVEY what episode is this
What episode is this ??
Why would you ever want to cancel this show!?!?
I heard that the owners of the animation studio didn't want to move closer to California.
@@Jaxvidstar Nah. It's simply just a case of Adult Swim not feeling that the series was getting high enough ratings to justify continuing the show.
Hallow ground everybody.

rusty comes first though
That is so cool.
WTF? i dont think Ive ever seen this episode o_0
So wait the twins respect 21 now?
Rocky Adams he’s not the same 21, he’s the Monarch’s number 2
He fought Brock. You got to respect someone who can attack Brock and lives.
which episode is this?
