NEW VIDEOS EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY!!
Thank you SO much for sharing these jewels... I will reach out for additional assistance.
@@aprillindsey2961 happy to help April :)
Thank you for this high level review. It will be helpful while I’m planning everything.
No worries, let me know if there is more info you want me to add
You are Awesome. Thank you
Your explanations are very helpful. I would love to see a video from you breaking down the business model of MLM insurance companies such as PHP (People Helping People) to expose how they prey on vulnerable people, and how they differ from a legitimate insurance company.
@@bt653 thank you for the feedback! I’m going to make a video on that 👍
This was a great video!!! Thank you for sharing
Happy to help
Extra helpful 🙏🏼
Great Video!! Chris your LLC name is the same as your DBA? Thank you for always posting helpful information.
Yes pretty much the same
Awesome video, what would you say are the biggest differences between selling Personal versus Commercial insurance. I am more interested in the commercial route but there is less resources in that sector
Two different worlds for sure. Biggest difference is understanding the different liability exposures that businesses have. Very different from personal auto or home liabilities.
Am impressed!
What's the commission like from the carriers? How does recruiting work?
Great job on your illustration, bro 👌🏾
@@elijahwoodberry1900 thank you! 🙏
Hey Chris! Great videos! What did you do for income for those first 6 months??
That’s a good question! I basically didn’t have any. I lived at my parents house, flipped surf boards as a side hustle, and just lived on my savings. It was a rough time haha
Thank you man.
Happy to help!
Thanks for sharing! Great info! I'm a real estate investor and thought that I could start my own insurance agency and be my own client to start off. Is that something you'd recommend? How many properties would you need under your belt to be profitable?
Focus on real estate. If you don't do this full time for years you won't make any money
Did I miss the information on contracting with insurance companies to sell their products?
Hello Chris,
Thanks, your information is very helpful. I would like to get some experience, can you help? Have a good day!
Hey, if you're in search of client, I will recommend running ads, that's what help me. if you have any question concerning the ads you can ask me.
Just FYI, you don’t actually need to buy a DBA. You can just register with the Secretary of State for free.
Do you even need a DBA at all? It seems like it would be just as effective or not needed and to just start an LLC, or am I missing something?
@@uncplaya103214 I honestly don’t remember the context of what he said in this video but generally speaking, you would need a DBA if you already have an LLC and you want to start a new business without creating another completely different LLC.
What is a DBA?
@@lauravargas3000 “ doing business as” it’s like having a different business name under the same EIN
@@jewel-monetlux.8405 Thank you❤️
When you say you should have experience. How much of my insurance adjuster (claims) experience will be useful. I know how to read and interpret policy, dec pages, and know the "claims process" through and through. (I have 1000's of claims under my belt)
That is definitely great experience to have. I would also recommend working in a retail office for at least 6 months to learn the ropes when it comes to billing, renewals, sales, etc
@@christheinsuranceguy Do you think that is something that I can do while adjusting? (Really meaning, do I need to put in 40 hours a week somewhere?)
I already work 50-70 hours a week some weeks, and then sometimes less than 20 hours
@christheinsuranceguy also, I have been approached by some of the bigger carriers (i.e. Farmers) about opening a branch in my area as an "owner". Is that a bad idea?
$800 for an LLC? It's $50 in MI and $25 annually after that.
I will be studying risk management and insurance at a local community college here in nyc will that make up for experience before starting an insurance agency?
That’s definitely great knowledge to have when advising customers on products but I would still suggest working in an agency for a bit to at least understand the basics of the products, customer service, billing etc
My friends dad/My football coach owns an insurance agency, I'm going to try and get an internship when I'm old enough
It’s a great business, you should do it. Lots of opportunities to be successful!!
Don't get an internship. Tell him you will set appointments for him for $12/hr then ask for more if you are good. The primary thing you need to learn is how to call people. It is also the thing most of us hate the most. It's valuable. Let him pay you.
Chris I need some info on starting up a life insurance company not associated with the current insurance industry companies. Can you help?
DM me on instagram @christheinsuranceguy or visit chriscostantini.com. I am happy to help!
Thanks for the video. Do you have to be in a cluster to use B9?
Nope, you can sign up for that independently. There’s a referral link in the bio if you’d like to use that!
@@christheinsuranceguy Yes, you deserve the credit for sure. I appreciate it. Im a new agent, licensed just this week. I have no appointments yet.
So Just to clarify, I could hop on to B9 and begin selling life using the carriers they are connected to?
@@xavier_bernard yes they basically handle the appointments with the carriers for you. So you will actually have a direct appointment but Back9 is your MGA
@@christheinsuranceguy that is a great solution for people like me who don’t want to deal with rah rah IMOs that steal renewal income. I appreciate your time and insight Chris. Thank you
@@xavier_bernard definitely man it’s a great platform. I think you’ll like it
Hey Chris, your webpage Adelfia Insurance is down. Why is that?
It has some technical issues, it should be up now! Thanks for noticing and pointing it out 🙏🏻
Hi Chris
Broker fee should go to your operating or trust acct ?
Receipt should be provided to client ?
How important is a merchant for payment ? And which one do you recommend?
I send it to my holding / trust account. We use ePay policy and it’s pretty important to have a credible merchant
Epaypolicy in Texas?
Why trust acct and why not to operating acct
@@christheinsuranceguy❤
@@chrisemch1 I usually just do holding unless I have a broker fee agreement that says “non refundable”
Does most of these things apply if your starting a remote agency with one employee for the first 12 months?
Yes I believe so. Is that what you’re doing? Let me know, I’d like to hear your feedback if this was helpful
@@christheinsuranceguy starting my own agency remotely. Can we connect? I have some questions for you
@@user-jo5gx5lt2hHi! I am doing the same. Can we connect?
Hey have you started your online remote insurance agency ?
Hi Chris. I need you to help me reach out with SIAA
Shoot me an email: chris@adelfiainsurance.com
I know every SIAA contract is different, READ thoroughly, most have a buyout on the back end. Basically you don’t fully own your book. 1 out of 10 I would never recommend. I’ve read horror stories plus personal experience. Plenty of others out there.
In which state you are? I am in New York and I just got my license. How can I contact you?
Easiest way is to DM me on Instagram or email me
What is your email Chris
Thanks for that information
How to spell the name of the phone system?
Kotter Bridge
@@christheinsuranceguy Thank you
Chris what state are you located in?
I now see Cali, move to Fla. Lets partner up. I own multiple call centers 45+ agents and want to get into insurance.
