    Omg, just completed creating my first insert. Thank you so much for teaching me how to use Canva. I could never understand how it worked and I gave up a few times as it was too overwhelming for me. But you are great at explaining things. Thank you.

    I cannot tell you how much value I get from your tutorials. They are very much to the point, some pointing out of additional options, but not too much. Just the right amount to see what's possible, but not enough to get overwhelmed. You share your knowledge about free resources, which really helps those with small budgets.
    I feel I do not have enough knowledge yet, regarding inserts. I hardly used any so far. But I can see the value of a bit more structured planning.
    I am with you in your preference to use free resources or reusables like printables. I like buying stickers and sticker kits that I can print over and over again. Thanks to another of your tutorials I was able to resize sticker kits to fit my planner.

    Great walk-through. I love the gray masking bar to cover the hole-punch space. Also, when you were talking about importing/uploading stock photos I was thinking about using photos of family and friends to add to the layout for their birthdays - like a small sticker on that day. Thanks for this - so many good ideas.

    Thank you for this tutorial! I make my own planners but I only do it with 8.5x11 paper. I’ve been wanting to do an A5 size but I don’t know how to print it. Can you do a tutorial on how to print A5 size planners using a home inkjet printer. I’ve been attempting to do this for over 2 years

    i did this and when i go to print on my paper that is 8.5x11, to cut it down, it prints that large - why?

    • @PlanningAnnie

      Not sure, maybe try scaling.

    • @jacquelinedavila-alicea7545
      @jacquelinedavila-alicea7545 Před 5 měsíci

      You need to uncheck “fit to page” so that it would print to the size you have indicated. Also, print it with crop line marks. It makes it easier for you to cut.

      I'm having the same issue. Why customize the size in canva if it doesn't stay that size when downloading. In other words, we customize the size we want, but it's prints 8.5 x 11. It seems like we have to select the paper size no matter what. Are we missing something?

    • @Elizabeth.Denise
      @Elizabeth.Denise Před 5 měsíci +1

      In your printer settings change the scale to 100% or depending the printer it may have a check box that says actual size this should change the document to back to the size that you customized it to. I’ve noticed that if you are you are using letter size paper printer tends to automatically scale the design up to make the design fit the paper so you just have to go into the printer settings and adjust the scale in order to get the size the customize size I want. I hope that helps.
