I feel pretty good, I have many of those settings. 😉
So many more to go though, you’re really in your wheelhouse with macOS that’s obvious!
Thanks E, I’ll be hitting this one back a few times!
Copyclip is awesome.
I appreciate it
This video is a godsend. I have wanted a Macbook for ages. I finally got my first one today and I've been so overwhelmed just trying to get used to the system that I was starting to panic and thinking I made a huge mistake but these videos are really helpful. And the more of them I watch, the more comfortable I feel. Didn't realize there'd be this big of a learning curve coming from Windows 😅
Great video. I am new to mac, just got a mac studio and coming from windows 11. I learned so much here and this video not only helped me get setup with some great suggestions, I leanred my way around while doing so. Awesome content. Thank you.
Just found your channel, this is the third video from you that I watch. Very good quality, clear message and great content! Thank you! I'm afraid I'll loose a couple of days to watch your channel through :)
I'm receiving my M2 Pro Mac Mini in a couple weeks and this is the exact video I needed! A much needed upgrade for my i5 Intel Macbook Pro 😅Thank you! Always love your videos, E.
I appreciate all the great information. 👍🏻
This was SOOO helpful, thank you!😊
Wow - love your setup story. Thanks - reinstalling my messy mac right now.
Id really like to see a small and minimal desksetup for students (on a budget).
My Desk is 100x50cm and im planning to add a mac mini as addition to my Ipad Pro
I really love your setups.
what monitor is that? I didn't see it in the description or in your website link? Its cool. I like it!
Hello E, as always love your initial setup of the macOS & specially the creativity you put in setting your desk, it's just a dream desk setup you always create. Plus I want your thoughts on Windows 11, it might be your next video why you prefer macOS over windows.
I’ve been using Macs since the late 80’s Your set up is very personal. I have different needs and preferences
Just got my M3 MacBook Pro spending almost £3000 and feel like the learning curve is huge and atm Windows seems so much better but I am trying to learn what I can from amazing videos likes this and hopefully will end up loving it
Just what I needed now! Only used some of the features. I have been using MacOS for over 10 years and haven't heard about some of the features you presented. Thanks. P.S. Is there a list of these apps written down?
Discovering apps like Monitor Control is exactly why I watch your videos. Thanks!
My pleasure! 😊
After 30 odd years on Windows, I am getting a Mac on Monday. This is amazing and you have yourself a new subscriber.
Thank you. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it
Does Craft finally has a such powerful database feature like Notion or a database option at all? 😊
I noticed that you're mounting you Mac mini below your desk where power button is hard to access. How do you manage to press the button, or you rarely turn it off anyways?
thank you for the tips and tricks, now my finder is way more user friendly and useable... really appreciate it
Great to hear!
Is the app you mentioned capable of transferring files wirelessly to your Samsung? im using Samsung dex for that
Amazing! :D
Very useful. Thank you.
What Monitor is that? It looks great ? And what are the specs on this monitor please ?
Love the videos, what monitor is that ???
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing it.
My pleasure 🙂
What are your suggestions for cyber security? Norton? What do you recommend? Thanks.
Very helpful video. Thank you very much.
Glad it was helpful!
My first Mac arrives tommorow. And this is on my recommended
Did you not use to use Alfred ?
thanks for the #monitorcontrol brightness app suggestion. smoothly dimming my panasonic tv tethered to my macmini m2. yaaay!
Really useful. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Do you face any problems with Bluetooth connection
The video is interesting and beautiful, and it encouraged me to try the Mac os and apple ecosystem
I am happy to hear that! Thank you!
How did you get this UI in Edge?
Very useful video to master mac OS! Thanks a lot
You are welcome! 😊
what is the name of this white monitor?
1:36 im using that ear for Accsesibility
niceee setup!!
I appreciate it. I’ll be covering it next.
Monitor model ?
I appreciate this amazing breakdown. I am returning to Mac after 10 years, and I will be all over your video for assistant.😂😂
Glad to hear that
As always, great vid. Please consider making a video about using Craft.
Noted!
Just bought a Mac mini so I’ll definitely be watching this before I set it up. 😊
Congrats! Let me know if it was helpful!
@@ThisIsE just went through all of the settings and I found this to be very helpful.
Thanks for the very useful video.
I’m sorry but I didn’t get how you were transferring your download and fonts folder from the old Mac to the new one 🤔
Just using an external SSD or AirDrop
Crazy how good this video actually is🤣...
when did it get this crazy with settings, almost need a class geezus
You should give Soulver a try if you like the Numi calculator. I think it's so much better and has way more capabilities.
Thanks for the tip!
Can you give Arc browser a go? Its a mac only browser for now. I have shifted completely to it from Safari and Chrome.
Alright. That sounds interesting
What is that monitor you are using?? That looks so cool
I have a video about it. Check out my latest monitor one.
After almost 30 years of PC using ( photo editing and video editing ) , i will buy a M2 Pro mac Mini.... this video is definitely a bible for me ! thanks !
Does the mac mini support 32:9 ultrawide monitors??
Yes
Do you keep it on sleep mode, or turn it off?
Never turn it off, unless it’s something necessary
This is so timely! How did you know I was going to get my m2 pro Mac mini today? 😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahha lucky I guess 😊
You should try raycast instead of spotlight and Alfred
Can we use an android tablet as a primary monitor in mac mini?
Not unless your tablet has an HDMI input. Most tablets and computers don't have a video input, only an output.
Amazing! Now do one for the iPad, Apple Watch, iPhone, and Windows.
Hahaha that’s a long list
@@ThisIsE well… I love your content.
Can you make a video for windows users who want to switch to Mac OS for the first time?
I have one. Check out the guide on my channel
Is it worth it in adobe editing apps?
*selfnote* Eine Sache fehlt: FaceTime eingehende Anrufe vom iPhone ausschalten &calendar alerts
O, new ad video from ThisIsE)) full video of ads))) do you have the same for m1 mac mini?)
No ads there
are you bulgarian.Just wondering.Great video btw thanks!
Yes I am! Thanks 😊
I always make sure the docks on every Apple device at full length but only mostly used apps on it. If the dock is too short, it hurts my eyes because it looks unbalanced. 🤣
Fair enough 😊
Is Macos is good. Because I want to buy a new Laptop
It’s great
I just use Migration Assistant.
Tip: to remove an app from the dock, you just need to drag it out of the dock
Where is the cool „Why not“ animation behind you back?
I’ll bring it back for you 😊
@@ThisIsE Amazing 🤩
Okay, if you want to REALLY be my hero (🤩) try to figure out how to transfer Microsoft Office personal customizations from one Mac to another during a clean install (i.e. without using Migration Assistant). 😂😂😂
Wow, I just wanna know how to fuccing plug it in and turn it on. Thanks. Sorry I guess I’m gonna do a basic set up like what fuccking button to push
I can’t get past the initial voice over for set up.
Beginner like me doesn't know how to setup wireless keyboard and wireless mouse 😅.
BEGINNER? No! This is not a beginners guide. But if I want to LEARN anything from this great video, I change the speed to 50 or 75 % SPEED because the narrator speaks and moves things around TOO FAST for a True Beginner to absorb. 🤐😪
bro you just have slow reaction time. did you ever go to school or take notes? teachers wouldn't slow down and wait for you 😂
@@sebastianolantieri23 :) Nah... nearing 70 years, dude! ♥
@@enriquesanchez2001 to be fair, everybody's different. i'm technically a true beginner as i don't own any macOS or hackintosh devices in my home, but i was able to understand everything from this video.
@@sorrai To be fair, I did "understand" everything. We all do learn in different ways. I guess my neural processing is weakening as I enter the precipice of life. Since I have just bought a Mac Mini, I was processing his instructions in a different way. Hope that didn't sound too goofy. :)
@@enriquesanchez2001 that didn't sound goofy at all man
Wait, what is that monitor?!
I talk about it on the channel 😊
I just saw your LG video and am watching now! Thank you!! 😄
@@ThisIsE Which video is it? Can you share link?
the monitor > LG Libero 27BQ70QC / the video > czcams.com/video/ErZb8p6_VeQ/video.html
Dude please respect Apple culture. There is a reason behind every default option.
I hoped this video would provide me with the essential guidance I need as a first time user of a Mac Mini. The entire introduction makes all sorts of assumptions that the viewer is expected to already know. It rattles along at far too high a speed, thus preventing any note taking to easily occur. At times words are gabbled, requiring several rewinds to translate comments. All of these disappointing features put me off proceeding further within the first few minutes. This video is NOT for inexperienced viewers because there are too many examples of poor teaching/ learning methods. A revised approach to how to present such a video would be welcome, rather than the presenter seemingly churning out another video for his own collection.
О! Русские буквы в загрузках. Славяне?
This video became completely and entirely useless at 3:37 when you said the next thing you do is go to iMessage but didn't show how you got to where you are on the Mac. I had to turn the video off and dislike it after that. Why waste our time talking about how to set up a Mac and then NOT SHOW THE STEPS?!? It's just so stupid.
iMesage is literally in your dock 😂
@@ThisIsE you were in iMessage settings, not iMessage itself. That’s not in the dock. Wtf are you babbling about?
@@ThisIsE The point is if you’re going to make a video about settings, most of the people who watch it are going to be beginners. Experienced users already know which settings they like, so obviously most of the viewers are going to be beginners. Makes sense. So, it’s important to NOT SKIP STEPS. Again, it’s important to go step by step. Why? Because, again, 99.9% of the people watching are beginners. I watched the entire video and found a lot of good info that helped me out a lot. But I had to google HOW TO DO most of the stuff you were showing BECAUSE YOU SKIPPED LOTS OF STEPS. Now why is skipping steps bad in this kind of video? Because, for the 3rd or 4th time, MOST OF THE PEOPLE WATCHING ARE ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. I hope you learned something.
