Hello, could you do more 2Pac, albums, better days and
Until the end of time
@@ashleywilkes3063 i second that
PAC was a monster on that album he was damn near untouchable
Facts
The nail in the coffin for Badboy and with him planing the one nation album with Nas it would have been the end for artist like Jay. Pac was a force
This album was unfiltered Pac. All Eyez On Me was classic, but it was shiny, sunny California, everybody at the gangsta party.
This was Pac’s heart and soul in every line, almost as if he was already leaving earth. Such a mystique hangs around this album man
His best album to me was me against the world, all eyes on me, makaveli, strictly for my niggaz, thug life
Yeah. He mentioned that he put all eyes on me to satisfy the population and recoup money. Then this album was war. But it was gonna be over after this. He was leaving the beef behind was the plan. Because he destroyed the competition.
@@dadarkknight36310 that was a great album but to me all eyes on me was his best work from a musical standpoint. Makaveli is probably my favorite tho. I like the relentless attack (bomb 1st) and deep cuts like white man's world. This album was scary.
This album really was indeed, something else. It was ahead of its time. There is no other album that sounds like MAKAVELI.
R U Still Down is still being underrated. That’s alright tho. Me Against the world is my favorite
Pac was ahead of his time, every song was dropping truth bombs that some people didn't want to hear.
MAKAVELI is the album all rappers fear
I respectfully disagree
MR ALFONZO Howard
That's a fact!
💯💯💯
The heart and passion he had alone makes anyone and everyone else subpar. Almost 30 years later and nothing close in comparison
lmao no
I remember when I first heard “White Man’s World” and “Hold Ya Head”, they brought tears to my eyes. I love this album
Agreed🔥🔥🔥
Love those songs
I fucked around and played “White Man’s” while grocery shopping one morning and was brought to tears. This man truly loved his people.
Hold Ya Head is in my top 5 rap songs of all time. One of the most powerful songs I've heard and I listen to just about every genre of music.
@@seanyoung9014 BIG FACTS.My top 5 Pac songs are:
1.So Many Tears
2.Unconditional Love
3.Hold Ya Head
4.Only God Can Judge ME
5.War Stories
Pac's most raw album... it just seemed very heartfelt on every track. Great review!
The fact he made this in 7 days is utterly insane and unthinkable. He made a masterpiece that is better than most other dudes entire careers. No one else comes close.
Actually 3dayz
@cameronhill9746 initially it was written in 3 days, but he went back and changed some tracks, adding some, and discarding others, such as Nggaz Nature...
@@jonbonson75 💯💯💯💯💯
lmao not really bud
@@bone-snypa
Yes really “bud”.
Tupac definitely put his soul on "Hold Ya Head".
and Hail Mary.
💯
My favorite track.
Even crazier thing not a cuss word in that song either
@@Peterborough_Guy_Slotsyeah bro its crazy i just notice that even the n word he didnt mention it
Glad you’re recovering.
This album is scary as it’s like Tupac knew that his time on earth was closing in.
The sounds Pac used for Hail Mary was so ground breaking. Who would’ve thought using church bells would go so hard in a rap song.
Yes, his chant was copied by many others like DMX.
@@KANYETHEGIANT228facts
The craziest thing about it, that beat was created by what was considered to the worst producers at Death Row.They called them the "Wack Room".It was like the NBA development league of producers at Death Row.It's said Tupac was in a rush to finish the Makaveli album in 3 days, but none of the top producers were available for thst time period.Pac ran out of patience and decided to give the Wack Room a chance. They created something unique & special.
@@KANYETHEGIANT228DMX whole first album was heavily influenced by makaveli...
@@KANYETHEGIANT228 pac is a leader not follower. Pac the man period.
I think people confuse "double, triple, and quadruple" entendres with lyricism. Lyricism is getting your point across with ease and delivery. 2pac is the pinnacle in that.
This album has a ton of triple entendre’s, though. the intro lines “niggas get shook like 5-0” was a triple entendre. The line “tougher than nitti” is a triple as well. Blasphemy has multiple triple entendres and me and my girlfriend “17 like brandy she just wanna be down” is a triple as well. Pac stepped his lyricism up for this album imo.
@@stephencox8723 Those are double entendre's man. You're doing exactly what I said 2 months ago.
@@pawpaw__ those are triples do you need me to break it down? Shook like 5-0 as in shook as in to lose someone (shake the cops), shook as in to get someone scared (shook ones) and shook as in to shake someone down (pac on against all odds said we shook Dre punk ass now he outta the closet.
17 like brandy she just wanna be down 17 bullets in a clip, brandy was 17 at the time and was famous for the song I wanna be down, and the girl is young and just wants to hang around. It seems like Pac’s wordplay just goes over your head a little bit.
Nah bars is different from delivery
One Of The Most influential & Timeless Classic Albums Of All Time. Even The Song Titles on This Became Major Stables in HipHop & in The Main Stream. Recorded 22 Songs in just 3 Days For This !!! 🔥🔥🔥

Jay Z disrespected the game doing "me and my girlfriend." He had the nerve to accept an award for it too. Knowing how Pac and the people felt about him. He stole 99 problems from Ice T and Brother Marquis of the 2 Live Crew as well..
Jayz was biten his entire career. He def got the idea for Dopeman from I gave your power.

I skip school to buy this album freaking classic I miss my boy pac
Tupac literally had the Rap Game in SCARED straight mode!!! I remember this erA,. shid I'm 43 now.
The Crazy part of this Album...the beats were Produced by the producers in the "wack room" basically the producers that they never use..Tupac wanted to show that he can make hits any way...And plus one of the producers on this album, was the Father of the guy who Played Tupac in the Movie.
Ain’t that some shit tho that some of the best beats are on this album.
@@derekcastillo949 real shit, that's my favorite pac album production wise easily. the album also had a consistent sound which was crazy.
There's a story where Pac couldn't get a beat so he got the producers from the wack room to make him some beats. They already had one that nobody wanted. Pac took it and used it. Can't remember which track it was tho. Possibly "krazy".

Good to see you back in action 🙂 This is one of Tupac's best albums by the way.
Salute to the Outlawz for keeping up with Pac given his legendary pace. 🔥🔥🔥
Great choice my friend. This deserved the listen
💙🤝
Where are we getting Pac wasn’t a great lyricists?? Tautograms, alliterations, double entendres, etc… He has flow, cadence, and a signature sound. The addition of the ability to get to you to feel his music… Please someone explain this to me.
Jay Z was just collateral damage. He’s BIG’s man at the time so he caught all the strays too. Fun fact: Afeni Shakur spoke to Jay after Pac died when she presented an award to him and she apologized for the things Pac said. Also, Afeni received 100% of the publishing (at Jay’s request) from ‘03 Bonnie and Clyde. So things came full circle.
My favorite Pac album. Bought it the day it was released.
Greatest hip hop album ever!!! Rest in Power to the GOAT, MAKAVELI!!
lmao no its not
Crazy that Pac did this in 3 days. GOAT
Fr man, my favorite rapper to the grave 🥲
Did you hear about his work ethic. He never listened 2 anything he did. They play a beat write bam do it again
7 days that’s literally were the name comes from
Tbh this album fire but hes ight he aint all that but this album good
@BCZ21 3 days took 4 dayz 2 mix it
This album was produced by Hurt M Badd, a singer/producer signed with Death Row and studio musician Daryl "Big D" Harper. They also produced some of The Lady Of Rage's album. "To Live and Die In LA" was produced by QDIII, who is Quincy Jones son. Dr. Dre didn't produce anything for this album, he already had left Death Row several months before this album dropped. Classic Pac right here, glad you liked it!
"To live and die in LA, California Love part motherfuckin 2.... without gay ass Dre"
Fun fact: Bomb 1st is produced by Tupac himself
@@YAVETHable lol yeah man...
Everyone knew Dre didn’t produce anything on this album. Bro he barely produced anything for Tupac. It was mostly daz, Jonny J, and Dj quik on all eyes on me and that’s when Dre was around death row

Not too many intros harder than “Bomb First”
My favorite PAC album of all time. This was the go to ride out album in the late 90’s. Since Jay Z was riding with BIG he automatically became a target for Pac.
Nah man it goes deeper than that, Jay Z a snake
@@KiLLuMiNaTi8o5
What are you talking about?
Jay and Pac barely if ever crossed paths for anyone to snake the other
@@Synchronite it’s deeper than that. Alotta behind the scenes, things that the general public didn’t and doesn’t know about.
@@tugga235ii
Nothing happened to make Tupac have a gripe w Jay
Except Pac taking the L in NYC and lashing out at anyone bubbling around Biggie period
Pac only came at Jay-Z because he was cool with BIG. Same reason 50 went at Fat joe behind ja rule. It's a war tactic in rap beef
To live and die in LA is my favorite west coast/summer song
Love this album 🔥💯 I'm so glad I got to live through the 90's and got to experience it first hand. I was waiting at the doors of Circuit City for them to open to buy this 💯
Bro, I was at Tower Records midnight release.
@@flaquis2729 I did that shit so many times through the 90's every Tuesday was new release day. Skipped alot of school to go get music 💯
WAXIE MAXIE'S, soon as the doors opened. This and Ironman that day.
This whole Album is a 1996'' Classic And what was erie And gave everybody chills about this album is Pac Died around the sametime this album was released And he was still dropping song after song with other artist years after his death not including the Makavelli Collection And those were not mixtapes.
In my opinion the greatest hip hop album of all time!!!
Pac had loyalty to DR and Suge for getting him out of jail. When Dre left, Pac took it as him turning his back
I don't know about other areas of the country but in DC this was the ONLY album anybody cared about when it dropped. We had just lost Pac and then got this right after. This was the only album I even heard other people play for almost six months straight and it dropped in what was arguably the best year for hip hop.
When it comes to content. This is my favorite 2pac album. It killed me to get a glimpse of where he was about to go with his music.
I believe based upon his contract and double cd this would've completed his death row contract.
This is the type of album that will get you killed. Gov't record label etc.
Front to back this album is incredible
Bro I remember when my friends and I heard Hail Mary. My God that song was hypnotic & haunting at the same damn time. I don`t recall nobody`s song touching Hail Mary back then no one. The whole album was....🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never thought about it like that... respect!
Yeah he elevated here
Such a great album, I was 12 when this came out and had to sneak around to be able to buy a cd with the parental advisory sticker.
Awesome to see that it is still regarded highly to this day!
Blasphemy might be my favorite track but we bumped them all on repeat!
I was 12 too when this album came out this and snoops doggystyle just stayed on repeat!
Can u enlighten on how yall used to sneak buy that. Im from the streaming era so.
Pac ruled the entire decade of the 90's with Deathrow. He was on their necks especially those you know today to be legends in Hip-hop from the 90's. 2pac is the GOAT 🐐
No he did not he didn’t sign to deathrow till later on his career elevated with deathrow
It was originally titled 3 day Theory because he recorded all in 3 days but took 4 days to mix and master . And in its entirety had 20+ tracks you can find the original on CZcams . Especially one of my favorite diss tracks “Watch ya mouth” lol.
But they chopped it after he died , also he was going to originally release it free to the public and this would’ve been his last studio album with Death Row
His poetry and versatility definitely stands with the top dawgs. No one in the top 5 says shit like ‘Extreme at times blinded by my passion and fury’ or ‘deep inside the solitary mind of a madman, screams in the dark, evil lurks etc’ that’s more than just rhyming words
That's damn near dark, deep, Edger Allen Poe-level poetic visuals right there.
@@brianvalencia7717 yes for sure!!!
When this album dropped I clearly remember buying it and going str8 to he house tore off the wrapper and popped it in the cd player to hear what the recently deceased artist had to offer up. From the start that intro put you str8 in the mood of what the album was going to feel like, it was an experience listening to it. Still is to this day.
One of the best albums ever made. Every track 🔥🔥🔥
This is the GOAT album in my eyes and ears. Pac at his rawest in his element not biting his tongue and actually letting his heart air out with no filter and no remorse, how could it be anything less than perfect
He recorded this album in 3 days edited and ready in 7.
G.O.A.T
The last song Tupac recorded was called fame ft kokane recorded like the like day or so before he died.
Ice Cubes "Amerikkka's Most Wanted". Opening track kicked the door in also...
This is my favorite Tupac aka Makaveli album since the second I first heard it when it came out 🥳🥳🥳🥳
One of my favorite tupac albums 🔥
To me this is the greatest rap album in history thus far...it seemed to transcend beyond mere rap..his pen seemed to take on a mind of its own like he was channeling the prophetic...i was 15 a when i pressed play i felt chills with so many tracks..seemed like hed become a spirit and not a man on some tracks
I agree. This album was something else. I was 16 when it came out. There's still no other album that sounds like this. And how he was rapping definitely had grown into a whole other maturity.
Still gives me chills. No human has done it better. Timeless
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣no its not
Ahmad, to answer your question about why he came at Dre, Pac was riding for Death Row hard after Suge bailed him out of jail. He and Dre were on California Love very soon after that. Around that time, Dre saw that Death Row was going in a direction that he didn't want to be part of and he left the label and most of his publishing from that time behind. Pac and others viewed that as a betrayal as they were deep into the coastal beef at that point. Dre formed Aftermath not long after. It would have been like Michael Jordan leaving the Bulls in his prime to be a free agent.
Gotcha 💯💯 had a feeling that was the reason
@@KingAhmadTvToss it up was originally recorded on Dre’s “No diggity” beat which explains his comments at the end “you wasn’t rocking it right”
In the end Tupac himself was tryna leave Death Row, he only had a 3 album contract and completed it in less than a yr
That wasn’t the only reason though
Pac was hard and talented like Micheal Jackson he directed how he wanted his songs to sound
My question to everyone who was alive when this album dropped. Could you imagine him touring on this 😳 🤔 we never got to see any shows or anything. This album would've launched something politically unstoppable. This was Malcom X level
Man Pac ruled the whole year of 1996 dropping 2 classic albums in one year. If he lived the tour probably would`ve been incredible. Plus you right he was moving more towards politics and I could see him running for office and winning hands down. Yes Pac was our Malcolm X.✌🏿
I'd like to believe you man, but he seemed to be so reckless. I'd like to think a 30-40ish Pac could have REALLY galvanized out people, but worse case he could have ended up somewhere between a lukewarm mix of Kyrie/Kanye or a DC sniper.🤷🏿♂️
@tywayne3 I doubt that. In a vacuum I understand the statement. If you consider his dire circumstances at the time..... locked up, broke etc. He was willing to sell out to get out. I don't blame him. Your soul dies in prison.
His movie career would've soon superceded his music career. I think this album would've been a game changer. We didn't get to experience this with him. Within a year the beef would've subsided. Biggie contact was complete. His contact was complete. Jay-Z would've never ascended to his heights but nas would've.
@@TheTheloniousHustle great points.

Lol Tupac fans always feel the need to base Jays career success on whether or not Pac lived... It's just plain contempt and hate. You realize Pac dissed the fugees at that same time and they outsold him and won a Grammy that year. Regardless of how much power you think he had, Tupac didn't have the ability to stop other ppls albums and career. Get real lol
Crazy about pac each album he was getting better… Drop reaction homie
This album is a CLASSIC.. You have to review his "ME AGAINST THE WORLD" album 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Me against the world album is ridiculous!!
Without question, losing Pac was a massive blow to hip hop. But I always wondered and wanted to see more of Pac and the Outlaws. Their energy was undeniable.
You forgot Hussein Fatal, 🔥outlaw🔥RIP. Has a solo album and features on Ja Rule album
Born and raised in L.A. this is a love song to us. All those crazy ass kids in the 90s
Pac got the idea for "Me and my Girlfriend", from Nas's "I gave you power". That was one of the albums he was listening too before he died. czcams.com/video/2iVIU9ydIYQ/video.html (They were supposed to meet in Vegas when he died). Pac was also listen to Illmatic during his trial. Right before "Bomb First" he called Nas the ring leader.
When Nas says name a rapper he didn't influence this is pretty much what he ment. Even on Ether he mentioned the Hawaiian Sophie (like in the Bomb first intro). There are a lot of things connected.
He also sampled the “Fuck Jay Z” from 2pac’s posthumous song Fuck Friendz that I believe was supposed to be on this album
pac only did that because nas used the same beat as pac on "street dreamin" he used the "all eyez on me" beat so pac decided to take something of nas's. also nas got the song i gave you power from organized konfusion's stray bullet. so nas wasn't taking credit for that because he didn't invent that concept himself. that was Monch.
I was never much of a PAC fan but this album here is amazing from beginning to the end!
Thanks for another one. Enjoyed this.

2pac started bombing on Jay-Z after Brooklyn's Finest dropped. Biggie mentioned Pac's name on that track talking about the alleged affair with his wife Faith Evans, and since Jay-Z was next to him Pac put Jay's name on some bullets to. Also Jay was the young up and coming NY rapper at the time and Pac was beefing with most of NY he only worked with a few like Treach from Naughty by Nature, Redman and Method Man
