- In this video I apply my what I have learned thru watching other CZcams videos to replace my hand grips on my 2019 Ninja ZX6R. These grips were purchased on Amazon at the link below. Been watching your channel for a hot minute and love the down to earth shit. I have a 21 ZX6R and I've been slowly modding it out (exhaust, servo delete, ECU flash) so can't wait to see what you do with yours! Also I wanna get that same fender elim/taillight setup

You did a good job getting the original bars ends off. I hear they can be a real pain. I'll be back with videos soon on my channel... Sold the Ninja and have a new bike on order... it's taking forever to come in.

Helpful video, thanks. Hey, does the alcohol activate adhesive that's already on the inside of the new grip? If not, I'm inclined to use the hairspray trick to ensure strong adhesion. Unlike you, I'm too inpatient to remove the existing grips by sliding them off, I'll just slice them and peel! Thanks again.
I honestly don't think my cheapo grips had any type of adhesive. If yours have adhesive I'm sure the alcohol will help.

Doing mines this weekend. Have same exact grips different color. Can I change the bar ends on these? I have my own id like to use. Thanks
Use a LOT of rubbing alcohol. I mean make it wet! And I'm pretty sure you can use your own bar ends. Pretty sure they just screwed in. Now the R3 bar ends were a pain. Different system holding them on.
You should get the green levers to see if the color matches. In the pic on Amazon they look a lil different

I love that I can customize my bike with so many different options! I was originally thinking red and black for mine but decided to go green.
I've had my bike a week today, put almost 200 miles. Decided to not lower it now that I've gotten a little more comfortable on it
