- This iconic TV western stars Clayton Moore as the Masked Rider of the Plains and Jay Silverheels as his faithful companion Tonto.
HIGH HEELS: The Lone Ranger and Tonto aid a short rancher who is so embarrassed by his lack of height he resorts to specially made platform shoes to add inches to his stature.
He could come in from two weeks on the trail without a spek of dirt on him. His boots were allways shined, and he spoke perfect english. Mothers thought he was a good influence, so Mom let me have a Lone Ranger outfit back in 1963. Silver cap gun & plastic gun belt, white hat, and the mask. Everything sold in one package, millions of kids had a Lone Ranger outfit.
HE WAS FAB BEFORE THE FAB FOUR!!
Mr. St.Ives should be proud of his height, I am, I'm 4'6"
Must watching on ABC in New York on Saturday's! I ran home from the synagogue to catch it!!
Oh no, he,s left Silver near the poisoned waterhole, that’s clumsy of him!
Stanley Andrews was ‘The Old Ranger’ on early Death Valley Days episodes. These great shows take me back to a happy childhood.
He was a fabulous man. Sounds funny today. Lmbo
Hope the woke crowd doesn't discover the Lone Ranger because they'd probably find something they consider racist about it. The Lone Ranger and Tonto were my heroes as a kid. They always did what was right and beat the bad guys. Loved his horse Silver, and also Scout. The Lone Ranger never missed a shot, but never killed anyone.
Great TV
The Lone Ranger was awful good.
