- Larry “Spiderman” McBride never ceases to amaze and has broken another Top Fuel Motorcycle world record with a must see run of 265 mph at the Man Cup Finals 2020 from NHRA sanctioned South Georgia Motorsports Park. We pick this video up with the thrilling Top Fuel Bike drag racing final between Mitch Brown and McBride after what has been a bizarre and unpredictable season of nitro motorcycle drag racing. In fact, for McBride it’s his first time out in more than year. Mitch was out once and was able to get some testing in, which helped lift him to his first 5 second pass earlier in the event. For McBride the team made major wheelie bar, chassis and Top Fuel Motorcycle engine changes over the off season. Both teams struggled with what was a very tricky race track than seemed to be over glued. With a weekend of nitro motorcycle data at their disposal, McBride and Brown face off in a Top Fuel Drag Bike final to remember. After we talk to McBride about what it felt like to run the fastest motorcycle drag racing pass of all time. Enjoy and share! What a race!

Love the sound of that pass, you can hear the clutch pulling the engine down near the top end, I never get tired of that sound!!!!!!!!

Ive watched so many of your videos and everytime i do all i can think is you belong on ESPN as a sportscaster for motorsports. You have an absolutely PERFECT voice and insane commentary delivery. The record run was amazing but someone from ESPN please get this man a contract and put him to work in your motorsports division!!!!!

Raced bikes back in the late 70's and thru the 80's back in the IDBA days. Larry was a class act and inspiration back then and still is today. 67 years old lost my nerve many years ago have to admire him.

The spectacle of Top Fuel bikes is incredible! It's a shame that they race to relatively small crowds, for little money. Cmon NHRA, bring these guys into a few pro events, and allow the rest of the world to see these engineering marvels, and the steely-ball men who ride them!

He’s a real laid back dude...I met him back in 2006 in Valdosta, Georgia. We were running pro stock in the AMA ProStar series. Also got to meet Paul Gast of Fast by Gast among other people like Sebastian Domingo

I watched again after seeing the interview on the couch. You can hear the throttle blip Larry mentioned from the dip in the track. I didn't notice it the first time I watched it.

Only guys who have been shot off of an aircraft carrier can relate. On the otherhand... I have operated a CAT 789 haul truck weighing about 800k pounds down a mountainside on a road that was a12% grade for 11 miles.I never went over 10 MPH (for more that a few seconds ). It is the same rush..only spread out over a longer time and repeated 9-10 times a day. On the otherhand..there is not a 3000 foot drop on either side of the dragstrip. JUST SAYIN'...... :D

And also, if you were to do the math by looking at the computer he went way over to 65 I mean the scoreboard showed 265.9, so that's probably 268 miles an hour or more! On the low 300 mile per hour ride you can add about and 12 miles an hour and believe? Don't quote me on that, but it's close just from working on them in the past- the dragsters and funny cars that is
so sick! So what was the deal with the championship? Did Mitch get it because of how many rounds he went vs Larry? I didn't know the points standings prior to this.
Thanks DME END. Mitch was the only TF rider who went to Dragway 42, so he scored extra points. Came in with a 99 point lead.
