    My wife and me are going to travel from Rome to Venice between June the 9th and 11th . We' ll be staying in a hotel two nights . Thank you so much for your very clear video , it was so useful for me . I made the register , for me and my wife .We already
    have our code numbers . It was easy to follow the different steps to fill out the form. The novelty with respect to what you say in your video is that it is not necessary to make any phone call , since it gives you the opportunity to choose between making the call or using my email , which I have done and immediately the codes have been sent to my email .We already have the codes printed and also on my mobile . We are a Spanish couple and I want to thank you again not only for this important thing but for other videos that I have seen and listened to with great attention.Thank you and my best wishes from Spain

    Hi - great to have this information in the one place!!
    I'm arriving in Venice on 19 May, staying till the 24th May. So my day of arrival on the 19th is one of the test days but none of my other days.
    My train doesn't get to Venice till 4:15pm on the 19th so I assume because I arrive after 4pm that I don't need to register? Is that your understanding?
    cheers, Geoff

      Hi Geoff, thank you for your comment! That's an accurate assessment, however, if you want to be 100% sure, you could go through the procedure and get an exemption voucher just in case.

    Thank you for your clear, informative videos, I enjoyed them! I followed this step-by-step registration video but found that my dates were not available to select. They happen to be weekdays -is it safe to assume that it's not required to pay the access fee on certain days, and if one's staying in Venice? Grazie mille

      Hi, thank you for your comment. In our previous video (Venice Entry Fee - How and When to Register
      czcams.com/video/s-u9GBtq1X4/video.html) we list the dates when the fee will be applied. Basically, every day from April 25 to May 5, and then every weekend after that until mid July, except June 1-2. If your stay doesn't include any of those dates, you don't have to worry about the access fee.

    Hello guys, love your videos, very informative.
    I noticed the hotel you entered, Hotel Aurora is located on the mainland in Mestre. I thought the exemption was possible only if your hotel was located on the islands themselves. Please advise if the exemption is applicable also for hotels located on the mainland. Thank you ❤

    • @NomadCitello
      @NomadCitello  Před 13 dny +1

      Hi, thank you for your comment. The exemption involves any accommodation in the metropolitan city of Venice, which includes Marghera, Mestre, and Favaro.

    Thank you very much! Your content is so helpful 🤗 Me and my husband are going from 30 th May to 2 June, it seems there is no fee on those days. Does that mean we don't have to register? 🤔

      Hi, thank you for your comment. Exactly, you don't have to worry about the entry ticket on those days!

    Thank you for your videos. We are going to Venice between cruises in May. Do you have any videos to explain how to Ravenna from Venice via taxi or shuttle? We are only in Venice 2 nights, then must leave early morning to Ravenna. Any help is appreciated...

    • @NomadCitello
      @NomadCitello  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hi, thank you for your comment. We don't have a video about that yet, but we definitely encourage you to contact the cruise company to ask whether they have a shuttle service. If they don't, you should check train schedules (www.trenitalia.com) or bus schedules (www.flixbus.it), before choosing a taxi. It could get quite expensive by taxi.

    Is the registration for all year around or just the busy summer months. We're going in October.
    Great step by step video thanks. Never knew about it.

    • @NomadCitello
      @NomadCitello  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hi, for this year they're just going to test it in specific dates during the summer (more on that here: czcams.com/video/s-u9GBtq1X4/video.html), so you don't have to worry about it in October. Starting next year, the plan is to have different fees throughout the year, ranging from 2-10€ a day based on how many tourists are expected in town.

    Thank you for your demo. I put in my dates in June 1 to 3 to register my exemption as I’m staying at a hotel. However it does not let me go further after entering the dates. Do you know why that is?

    • @NomadCitello
      @NomadCitello  Před 18 dny

      Hi, thank you for your comment. June 1-3 the access fee is not required, so you don't have to worry about it.

    One question, I'm arriving very late to Venice (11pm) on May 2nd and my hotel checkout is next day, May 3rd. The website mentions that the exemption is valid from day of arrival to day of departure, but I just want to make sure I don't get fined on May 3rd which is the day I plan to be in Venice most day, but won't stay the night.

    • @NomadCitello
      @NomadCitello  Před měsícem +1

      Hi, thank you for your comment. We're pretty sure you can include both days in your voucher request, since the authorities might check that your name actually corresponds to the hotel's records, but they shouldn't dive too deep into dates and times.
