- They’re the duo with acclaimed careers spanning four decades and now, Nigel Havers and Patricia Hodge are reuniting on stage at the West End this Summer in a new production of Noël Coward’s ‘Private Lives’. The pair, who are both household names with accolades ranging from Olivier Awards to Coronation Street credits, have also both appeared in Downton Abbey. Nigel and Patricia join us to tell us all about what it’s like treading the boards together, why playing spatting ex-lovers has kept them on their toes and most importantly… if we’ll ever see a new series of Patricia’s comedy ‘Miranda’.

A delightful show. I saw the production when I was in London last month. Patricia made an error--spilled the coffee--and improvised a line in character. What a pro!
I’m here to see what Patricia is like because I enjoy her immensely and all creatures great and small 😊 she’s lovely and I see she’s a very accomplished actress. I think I know more British actors than I do American, speaking as an American.
Am 35 yrs old Patricia Hodges? i still would just putting it out there!
Lovely interview! I was in England last July, for one month, and sadly I missed the opportunity to see Nigel and Patricia in the West End with Private Lives, which I wanted to, because I am a big fan of Nigel since Chariots of Fire, and I read very good reviews on this play. I hope they are back next year; I have another trip to England in the works, so if they are back, I'll probably have a glimpse of them! Thank you from Argentina!!
Ale, the play is an absolute delight: I saw it last night and I shall return on Monday. If you want, I will try to get Nigel Havers and Patricia Hodge to sign a programme for you and I will post it to Argentina for you; Patricia Hodge signed my programme last night and she was extraordinarily kind to me and other admirers.
🇬🇧👋🏼❤️🇦🇷
@@vstrings oh, really??? That's soooo kind from you!!! Yes, indeed, I would love to have a signed programme by Nigel and Patricia. For many reasons, I didn't have the opportunity to go to again to England before (the first time was in 2011, and the last, now in July was my second, stayed for one month), and I always wanted to see this play. I read so many good reviews about Nigel and Patricia. Please, if you have the opportunity to have it signed by both for me, it will be great! I am very thankful indeed :) Thanks loads 😊👍🇬🇧🇦🇷. PS: btw, I am a journalist and I wrote an article on the 40 years of Chariots of Fire. The documental Nigel did in 2012 for the movie and the Olympic Games in London helped me a lot.
I can't understand what the interviewer says ...!
It’s not same without holly , others do ok tho
Once again there's that presenter with his ridiculously tight shirt to show off his weirdly large biceps. Who's running this show?
Why was I recommended this? I am under 60 and couldn’t give a toss
