About this video -
Me and Kajari are blessed with a baby boy, Blue whose good name is Rayan.
He is a newborn bay who is only 10 mths old. This is the first time in 8 mths that we have made a sudden plan to go to Shillong, Meghalaya with Blu. We are travelling with our couple friend Mithun and Tanaya. This is rather a Meghalaya Trip, where we are going to cover some of the best tourist attractions in Meghalaya. We have gone to the best places in Cherrapunji and Shillong.
We took a flight to Guwahati and then went to Shillong by road. It is approximately a 3.5 hours drive. On our way, we visited the Umiam Lake and was mesmerized by the serene beauty of Nature.
In this vlog we visited the West Jaintia Hills district in Meghalaya. We visited the Monolith Gardens, which has monolithic stones, that serves as a memorial for Jaintia Kings, established nearly 500 years ago. Then we visited the Nartiang Durga Mandir which is a satipith. Nartiang is the name of the village. Then after returning to Shillong that very evening we went to Police Bazar to have local khasi food from Tratorria restaurant in Shillong. This is Shillong Tour 2024. The best sight seeing and things to do in Shillong, Meghalaya, Cherrapunji. This a Shillong best budget tour.
We had Jadoh, which is a type of Khasi fried rice with generous amounts of pork in it.
We also had Dohsniang, which is a pork curry cooked with sesame seed paste, also had khasi style country chicken curry. This is the local khasi food or the best food in Shillong. From Shillong to West Jaintia Hills we travelled via Jowai Road with excellent views and scenic beauties.
