Want even MORE amazing ways to use eyelets? I have another video for you: czcams.com/video/mBMlPbfA3AA/video.html
BRILLIANT! I have a TON of eyelets and the Crop a Diles (both) that I have not used in ages. This makes me excited! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Wonderful! I love hearing that. Abandoned craft supplies make me sad! :) I want to #bringbackeyelets
I love eyelets and kind of stopped using them now I need to get them out again!!! Thanks for the fantastic ideas
You are so welcome! So glad. I had noticed that many groups and many craft manufacturers asked on Facebook, "What is one craft supply you regret buying?" At least 80% of the responses involved eyelets, and I ADORE eyelets, so I thought I'd help everyone fall in love and #bringbackeyelets
I'm so glad I ran across this YT. I bought eyelets years ago to use on clothing. Now I do a lot of paper crafting. These will now add more dimensions to my crafty items. Thank you.
Wonderful! I love hearing it :)
Newbie here. So excited to have found your channel. I was actually searching for "how to use EYELETS and found you. Thank you so much.
Welcome to my channel! So glad you found me :)
OOOH!!! LOVE the charms and also being reminded of some of the other ways that I USED To know but kinda forgot... Love this vid! Thank You!
thanks for watching! Have fun!
Always been intimidated by eyelets until now. Thank you Lolly! Such a small thing to totally take projects to another level!
And that journal has to look familiar :)
Wonderful tutorial. I’m learning so much from you. Thank you and have an awesome day 🦋
Thank you! You too!
I love the way you explain. Thank you for your time.
Thanks for watching!
All great ideas! Adding the string before the eyelet for the string closure, genius! In the past I have always tied a knot which can add too much bulk. I cannot believe it never occurred to me to add the string first! Thanks for your video!
So glad to help! Thanks for watching!
helpful right?
I bought eyelets a couple years ago and forgot why I bought them... now I can use them. Thanks.
sweet!
So glad this popped up in my recommendations!!! Thanks for the reminder/refresher on using eyelets! I, like you, have quite a lot in storage boxes! Will have to get them back out again!😊
Perfect!
Simple....but profound.
I agree.
So beautiful 💗
Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas!
Thank you so much!
I have just received my Crop-a-Dile and thank you so much for the many different applications suggested. Brilliant ideas! Greetings from Bavaria/Germany! Elisa
Wonderful! I hope you enjoy it!
Thank you!!!! Need to invest in a crop-a-dile for my paper crafting.. nervous about size of eyelets to slip, say, a gourd style safety pin to hang beads or charms on. You teach well and are pleasant to listen to.
Any eyelet will work with a gourd / garment pin. The pin is very slender and fits through all the eyelets
This is by far one of my favorite videos that I have watched several times over. Genius ideas in which I will certainly implement some of the new ones that I have never used before.
Wonderful! Thanks so much :)
Thank you so much for this video. I have lots of eyelets and brads that I rarely use anymore. I love these ideas!
Glad it was helpful!
I had to pause real quick to say that journal/planner page use is a-mazing to me!! 🤩🤯 I have TONS of eyelets AND a Crop-a-Dial, AND all the planner covers, dividers, bookmarks, etc… that could be used for this!! 👏🏻 I applaud you, ma’am! Lol
Yay! Thank you! I ended up sending the entire journal to a friend. :)
This is brilliant. It is so obvious when you show these ideas, but I never thought of anything beyond a tag……..!!!!!!! Thank you so much. You just opened up a whole world of ideas.
awesome! I was motivated to make the video, because I saw a Facebook post where someone asked what is one thing you regret buying, and the majority of the responses were "eyelets"
Well, you certainly changed that notion. Thanks again. ALL of your videos are terrific, but this one really did open up a whole world with a tool everyone thought was soooo limited…!!!
I've used eyelets and brads for many years but today a learned new uses for them. Thank you!!!
Wonderful! Glad to hear that -- thanks for watching.
Eyelets were always one of my favorite trends that came along, I love the texture and look of them, I still have tons!
fabulous!
Awesome content, so much valuable knowledge like little technical hints on top of cool ideas. So far, in every video I have learned something new that will improve my crafting skills overall.
Great to hear! Many thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Be blessed today!
Great tips for eyelets Lolly, tfs huge hugs x Julie 🇬🇧
You are so welcome. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. :)
This is ABSOLUTELY MY ALL TIME FAVORITE...I can look at it over and over, LUV IT, LUV IT LUV IT! ❤❤❤
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to share these examples. As soon as I figure out how to use the Crop-a-dile properly, I'll try these.
DId you get a chance to watch my Crop-A-Dile Big Bite video? It's listed under this one (click the arrow thingy to see all the links)
Lots of neat ideas that I hadn't thought of! I would love a vid on how to set an eyelet perfectly with the regular crop-a-dile hand held one. Mine almost always come out not quite right or one side is not squished enough and I can never remember which side of the setter thing to put in which side of the eyelet! I have to do a few practice ones first, always! Oh... they are good to use to hold down vellum if you don't want to glue it. I like to stamp on my vellum and then put it over something on my card or whatever, and then put eyelets in all 4 corners. Looks really cute.
Marilyn McLeod Great idea on the vellum. Thank you.
Great idea! If I add it to my next video, I'll credit you!
@@debbieevans4934 You're very welcome!
@@LollyPalooza I did go to your blog and downloaded the PDF for using the regular crop a dile. I know it'll be super helpful and I'm going to practice setting eyelets and do it right - I think I've been using the crop a dile wrong to set them! The vellum idea I used many years ago when I first started scrapbooking and paper crafting... before I had a good glue to use.... and wanted to put vellum on a page without the glue showing. I wasn't even watching CZcams then!
So many great ideas! Yes I would appreciate you doing a tutorial. I just subscribed to your channel. Thanks
Awesome! Thank you! Welcome to my channel. Be sure to check out the videos I shared under this one: Crop-A-Dile Big Bite tutorial, and How to Set Perfect Eyelets.
Thanks for pulling all those ideas into one place for easy reference.
thanks so much. Glad to help
Fantastic video!! Thank you for bringing back the eyelet! I have a bunch, and you have inspired me to get them out again. Love all the different ways you showed us how to use them.
You are so welcome! yes, we need to start a hashtag, right? #bringbackeyelets
LPZ: THANKS for all the fun & interesting information in your tutorial on eyelets! You are such a GOOD teacher & easy to follow :D
awww! Thank you so much!
Off subject but what beautiful hands this woman has
awww
Yes! ‘creative thumbs’ as i call them, most artists have this style thumb,i think they’re beautiful too.
I was thinking the same thing! And such a nice voice, too.
@@reallyreallyrhonda so sweet
Funny, I noticed that, too. Nothing garish, just elegant.
Wonderful ideas on how we can use our eyelets! I will adopt some of them and I thank you for showing us Lolly!! 😊
You bet! Thank you so much for watching :)
Wow! I love all your unique ideas for using eyelets! I have a Crop-A-Dile and a whole bunch of regular and decorative eyelets. Haven't used them in years. I would love a refresher on how to use the Crop-A-Dile to set the eyelets, please. 😊 Thank you for this video! I especially love the dangles! ❤️
yes, under this video, there's a link to my Crop-A-Dile video! Check it out!

That is great. Thx very much and thank you for this video. Very useful. Jackie
@@jackielubeck Thank you!
Thank you for some great eyelet ideas! One of my favorites is that paper clip for the bow. Love that!! And the double color page edging. This is not my idea, but it's something I thought you may like: I have seen section tabs decorated with the tiny eyelets and a charm through it. That's one of my favorites as well, used in a planner and travelers notebook.
Question: what do you do to cover the other side? Or do you not have to cover them? No matter how gentle I try to be, the back side of the eyelet always has sharp points. I can't seem to mash them or get them flat so I don't scratch myself. If it happens on the left side (for page reinforcement of a section divider) at least I'm not touching that but I have had it happen where the sharp bit scratches the paper next to it. I made my own recipe book, and I used eyelets for the covers and section dividers- that's where I'm having this trouble. It scratched my fingers up as I was attaching all the sections with twine, and I've noticed a couple sections where the eyelet backs scratch what they rest on.
I've used eyelets on actual tabs, too. Very fun. About the backs of eyelets -- I'll share in my "How to" video! :)
LOL, Sorry I missed this post when I posted :) I asked the same question! The quality of the eyelet must have one thing to do with it? I will be watching for your video on *how to* which I hope will fix this issue for those of us who keep getting cut! LOL
Thank you Lolly!
Thank you! I have a whole large drawer with eyelets I used to use but haven’t recently. I will now as you helped bring fresh ideas if using them.
sweet!
Great Video!
Definitely will be using to attach collage die cuts; string closure; lace closure; decorative insert; adding to bows for cards & paper edging.
wonderful!
tutorial on how to use the eyelet perfectly, please
Thanks. will do!
Using small crocodile please
@@elizabethhundiak527 The settings are the same, but I am going to do a "how to set eyelets" video
Lolly Palooza - oh, great! Somehow the front looks OK, but the back is usually wonky. I must be doing something wrong because it feels like I need extra hands to get it right.
Sherry Woods I have found that crop a dile perfectly sets memory maker eyelets but some of the generic eyelets are stronger and fractionally different sized, metric probably as opposed to imperial and that makes a difference as tolerances are set for crop a diles. Cheaper thin eyelets set perfectly most times as long as you are careful
I'm waiting for my Crop A Dile to come in the mail. So many ideas. Thank you !
perfect!
Great ideas! Especially liked the charms, edging, and eyelet instead of tiny attacher! Thank you!
thanks a bunch
Thank you for sharing awesome tips now I know what to do in my eyelids have a blessed day stay safe know that God loves you
thanks so much! Blessings to you!
Ohhhh how I love the lacing bod and tenis shoe one. Love all but loved it most.
perfect! Thanks for watching!
Plain simple instructions with demo and results... brilliant... thank you :)
Thank you so very much!
I love the 2 holes for ribbon or twine to accent the page! Such a fun idea Lolly. 💜
thank you so much! It's funny how sometimes a LITTLE easy something makes a huge impact on a project :)
When I first got started in paper crafting, a former Stampin' Up! demonstrator gave me an old catalog where "hardware" was featured on many (if not most) of the example cards. I have had a fondness since then for metal embellishments. Thank you for all of the great ideas and tips for using eyelets.
I remember a time when eyelets and brads were featured quite heavily at Michaels. :)
Such great ideas! LOVE the tabs and charms!!
thanks so much! The charm seems to be a fav of many viewers!
These are some great ideas. I also have a thing for eyelets, and brads, and I'm always wanting to use them more. Thanks for all your great ideas.
I have a "thing" for eyelets, too! :)
Now I have ideas to use up some of the stash from my early scrapbooking days!
perfect! Love hearing it!
Dear Lolly,
Thank you for this gorgeous reminder on how to use eyelets, I tend to forget about them.
I love the pop of color they give projects!
Love these ideas. Can’t wait to try some of these. Thank you.
So glad! TFW
Hi Lolly! One of your past projects was why I purchased the colorful eyelets. Now I have 9 more uses! Thank you.
SWEET! glad to help!
I really liked 7 and 10, never thought to use them in such adorable simple ways! Tfs!
Thanks so much!
This video was soooo helpful! So many creative things I would have never thought of! Plus a link to a new store for goodies too! Thanks so much!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge in a fun, no waffle way👍👍
My pleasure! Thanks so much for watching! I spend a lot of time editing out the wasted space on the videos :)
Oh, these were such great ideas! Thank you for sharing! I had forgotten about my eyelets!
Yes, get them out! They want to see some action. :)
Now i need even more eyelets. Thanks for the tips.
Happy to help! Yes, you DO need more eyelets :)
Great tutorial!!! I love using eyelets too!!! TFS!!
WOOT! You keep saying it -- we have a lot in common
I was so happy to see this. I was gifted hundreds of eyelets and brads and didn't think I'd every find anything to use them for or be able to use even some of them. Now I have tons of ways to use them. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! :)
Great ideas Lolly, thankyou, love them
thanks so much -- glad to hear it :)
Absolutely inspiring! So many times the videos I see are of things I've already seen/done but this video has so many great and UNIQUE ideas!! So helpful thank you.
Thank you so much!
Yes, a Crocodile tutorial, please. I love, love the hint about how to attach string using an eyelet. Fantastic!
the Crop-A-Dile video was already made -- I mentioned that the link is under this video. You need to click to see all the information under the video. Hope it helps. I've also recently done another video -- how to set eyelets. That's also listed there now. Let me know if after watching both of them, I can still help in some way :)
Love your creativity! Thanks for all the fun ideas on how to use eyelets.
thank you! Have fun!
Love these all but #8 paper edging is my favourite, and thank you for sharing this. With all your good ideas I am pinching for use, I'll have to call my TN Lolly!
Awww. How fun would that be? :) Thank you!

many thanks!
Thanks so much! Have probably had the crop a for 10 years and never figured out how to use it properly or had any good ideas about how to use eyelets. Between this video and your big bite video with instruction sheet for the crop a dile I understand. Thanks again:)
Glad I could help! I love hearing this!
Lolly thank you for a great video. I love your unique ways to use eyelets. I have quite a stash too and will be trying some of your ideas.
thank you so much!
I love using eyelets as you did on the bow/paperclip, but I make small journals or paper pads ( not too thick, or only eyelet through the cover) bc I love adding the ribbon and it functions to keep it all together. Thanks for all the other great ideas!
I made a "pad" journal once, too -- been awhile. Well, it was before I started filming tutorials! :)
Such lovely ideas X thank you so so much for sharing your talent X
You are so welcome! Many thanks for watching!
Love the added interest
thank you
Great! Thank you for this Lolly, I have loads of eyelets!! Will get going now. x
Wonderful!
I’ve had my We R Memory Keepers “hole punch/eyelet setter” for several years and have only ever used it to PUNCH HOLES. Thanks to your fantastic video I now what to do with all of the eyelets I’ve hoarded!!! I was always intimidated to use the eyelet part (never thought to CZcams it) and so never bothered. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I'm glad you can get some use of it now! Thanks for watching. Did you get a chance to watch the other video linked below this one (HOW to set eyelets)?
Great video reminding me to use my eyelets and showing some cool NEW ways to use them, too! Thank you
You bet! Thanks for watching!
Love this! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the ideas!!
You are so welcome!
You are a natural at doing videos! You explain things clearly and concisely. Thank you, no excessive jibber-jabber.
So nice of you Thank you for watching! I do my best to cut out excess time-wasters. Sometimes I'll chit chat while doing something I can't fast forward through -- I think it helps my viewers to get to know me. But I know I personally am not fond of watching a video waiting for the instructor to drink her coffee :)
These are great!! Thank you so much for sharing!
You are so welcome! Thanks a bunch. Happy New Year!
