Great video of Schenectady. What does it look like @Christmas. Does the city decorate like they used to? If they do. Could you give us a walking tour? Loved everything. P.S. balance the volume of your music with the volume of your speaker. Great to see the old city. Much thanks.

I grew up in Burnt Hills and no one has ever accused Schenectady of being refined or gracious in the last 50 years.

@@jmurrayathletics he does! Only the richest COL areas are the best ones according to him. His dry humor is funny tho.
I'm from NYC but was moved to Georgia (near Atlanta) as kid and want to move back. The City is out of my comfort zone bc i don't want to be house poor for the next 30 years but would still like access to it. I'm looking for somewhere in the middle, town-like and walkable but not necessarily downtown so it's affordable but also safe bc I'm a woman and i have children (school system not as impt).
I've looked at: Troy, Schenectady, Albany, Syracuse as possible locations in order of interest. I've watched so many New York state videos in the last week it's staggering. :) But I'm grateful you all have put in the effort!

@@aangitano look into Scotia NY, it's outside Schenectady and offers a small town feel with lots of entertainment and a good school district within walking distance of most the town. Has a small town theater, skatepark, shops, venue's, bars, nicest park around, a community and the only drive in location for food in the area. Nature trails near by are also a plus
