#fleetfoxes #shore - Hudba
God damn someone get this man an orchard
I have been a fan of Fleet Foxes for over a decade now and I will forever be grateful to them for being such a big part of the soundtrack of my everyday life, their music has either made me happy, or accompanied my melancholy, but it's always been there like a trusted friend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It’s crazy how much music can have such an effect on one’s life.
Completely agree 👍🏻
Me too 🎉
Same here and it started around 2016/2017 with the first fleet foxes record, where I've never heard in my life.Glad to hear there music intensivly for 2 years.
100% 🙌🏼
I took my 10-year-old daughter to see them in Boston (Somerville) in 2008. It was her first concert. She took me to this concert as a birthday present 14 years later. They were great then and they're even better now!
That's so cute!!!
That’s awesome, great dad you are
How beautiful. Absolutely priceless
That's beautiful.
This touched my heart!! My husband introduced me to them at this concert, and I'm a huge fan now
Mykonos is still just one of the best things in life.
Legend has it that his thermos of tea is still steaming.
Ok we all know that Robin has an incredible voice. But Christian (bass player) was straight up giving me full body chills during the chorus of Phoenix. What a gorgeous angelic voice.
His falsetto is unmatched. Reminds me of Frusciante
Yep thinking the same, he has some voice!
Christian is so good
Very nice.
He did Justin Vernon's part justice and then some.
This should get released as a live album. Amazing
Smartest man alive.
Truth
Yes! Idk why it hasn't been yet?!
@@Merlincat007 I'll take one, or maybe two.
true, love the crowd noise hahah@@DrKehr-xf4ut
I can't believe this is just on CZcams for free! THANK YOU. What a wonderful way to spend two hours. I am filled with joy and appreciation.
I'd like to buy it just in case it gets pulled like the Austin City Limits show did.
This entire concert is a master class in vocal harmony orchestration/layering and listening/blending. Kudos to the entire band. Love the additional horns/vocalists. Just a perfect performance of the modern day Foxes.
Kudos to the sound guys as well!
Any fleet fox fan I’ve ever met has such a pure soul. The comment section in here is beautiful. 🙌🏼
i know most fanbases wouldve pointed out your spelling mistake by now
I was just thinking about both of your thoughts 😅
Pee yourself
Third of May is just something else.
Robin really seems like a humble guy for someone so ridiculously talented.
We are honored to be able to experience his gifts for songwriting and harmony.
It's also great that he has managed to assemble a group of equally talented people to turn his visions into reality.
(note: he is a huge fan of Brian Wilson - I hope he can hold it together)
Very much wish to be able to have the effect on someone else’s life like Robins lyrics have had on mine
A fleet foxes concert is like climbing into a hot bath on a freezing cold day and sipping a good Brandy
New drummer is fire. Love hearing his new fills added to these tracks.
what happened to the drummer from before?
@@adriantomo5688 they have had like 6 drummers. josh tilllman (father john misty) was great and the last album tour was with the drummer from Walkmen. The current drummer is a friend of theres from Seattle who has played in other bands here
This guy has an awesome feel...very impressed
@@kevinlong4657 Tillman was Great but he didnt get along with the rest of the band.
@@augustosolari7721 It seems Tillman intentionally boycotted some performances in the last tour he did with the band
Saw Fleet Foxes with The National in Sydney on Friday night March 1. As excellent as The National were, Fleet Foxes were astonishing. Gorgeous, heartfelt music that filled my soul. Thank you.
Astonishing is a great word to describe them. So pleased this incredible live performance is being released on vinyl this coming record store day. It is a live music masterpiece.
I saw them live for the first time in Melbourne on Tuesday night. What a night.
This version of Phoenix is absolutely breathtaking
Yessssss amazing song!!!!!
I went to this concert… it was the best concert I’ve ever seen. Good job Robin!
Wish I were there
i went to this concert too! cried multiple times!!!
So lucky. Cherish the memories.
at the end, my voice was gone…
Did you tell the hecklers to shut the hell up?
White Winter Hymnal is easily one of the greatest songs ever recorded, easily, is such a powerful track
Uwade's voice in Going to Sunroad makes my spine chill oh my.
Grown Ocean sounds majestic live
This was my first Fleet Foxes show. Incredible!!!!!
Fantastic new drummer
Better than Ringo
Im from Paraguay, i travel to Santiago de Chile just to see their first concert in latino América, and was a dream come true, Fleet Foxes change my life, the voice of Robin and the melody of these guys was my company in times of happiness and joy, in times of sadness and suffering in 12 years and counting, just want to say THANK YOU!!! My everyday soundtrack ❤️
I'm pretty sure my emotional health has been saved countless times by these guys and for that I'm forever grateful.
Hopefully someday I'll be able to watch them live, surely would be one of the best days in my intire life.
Being here was truly an unbelievable experience. So excited to force everyone I know to watch this concert
This band is definitely underrated. Deserves an M instead of a K in the views!!!
Man, so many bands go downhill with each new album, but Fleet Foxes is one of the few that hasn't. Exponentially so. Shore is truly a pure gold masterpiece. Evokes emotions in me of beautiful memories I've never made in places and times I've never been but can only imagine.
Of course the selection of the rest of their songs is wonderful as well. Such a delightfully eclectic group. Will always remain a favorite. Great show.
Shoutout to the sound guys too 👌🏼
Uwade singing Tim's portuguese part was spot on, perfect!
For real, she was on point. Wonderful performance!
I'd love to see them collaborate/sing more in the future 😍
Cant listen to fleet foxes without crying. Its always a hard cry, too.
Fleet foxes was a relatively recent find. I found the tiny desk and then listened to shore with my headphones in and just openly wept. I’ve never heard such a beautiful album. Changed my life. Went to their concert when they came near me and had an AMAZING experience (as well as falling in love with Tim Bernardes’ voice). Thank you SO much for your music. You’ve made my life so much better. 💖
"...Happy Birthday Half-of-Boston" DYING!
I have never commented on any CZcams video In my entire life but I feel it's necessary to say that this is one of the greatest concerts of all time. I'm huge into jazz fusion these days, I've listened to everything 50s-now. Yet every single song is epic from this concert. I don't understand it all.
Whoever it is covering the drums is very solid.
Nvm Robin said his name toward the end, Chris Icasiano. Dude shreds.
Wow. Fleet Foxes never disappoints. Even a decade later and the music brings me to tears.
This concert is honey for the soul
My kids bought my wife and I Father's Day and Mother's Day gifts of 2 tickets to Winnipeg Folk Fest 2023 at Birds Hill Park in Manitoba. They knew I liked Fleet Foxes but I never dreamed they would come to Manitoba. Wow! Blown away by the music, vocals, visuals. I had moments of speechlessness and chills. (And not because of the rain storm that had blown through an hour beforehand)
Thanks for being the musicians that you are and for touring into Manitoba. All the BEST!!
man, wading going into sunblind gets me every time
my brother showed me fleet foxes when i was in middle school, he would play their self titled album every night on his turn table when we went to sleep. i’m getting to see them for the first time in june and i’ve never been so excited, these songs have meant more to me than any others in my life.
1:56:27 Are you kidding me 😭 I get chills everytime! So amazing
Calling out the guitar solo during Ragged Wood, what a move (and no, this was not my only take-away from this concert, what a performance).
what a wonderful drummer!, does all the difference. love father josh also.
Forget Spotify and Apple Music. My 2023 grind is to be 0.01% on this masterpiece set. Saw them in Seattle and it was incredible. So happy I can re-live whenever I want!!
Ah, so many old gems packed into this set. Thank you, Robin and team for preserving the night for all of us who couldn't be there ❤
Maaan Mykonos is beautiful on this set! Takes the show to another level for the rest of the night!
After hearing Shore live it totally transformed the album for me. Fleet Foxes is one of the greatest live bands ever!
Robin’s version of The Kiss is devastatingly beautiful. Thank you for this.
You're definitely in my "Bands I need to see live before I die" list. I really hope I'll get the chance to one day! Come visit us here in Indonesia Robin and crew!
Got to see this setlist twice in Seattle. Genuinely one of the best nights of my life, not even joking
Hoping they come back to Seattle soon
IT AIN'T OFTEN THAT YOU'LL EVER FIND A FRIENDDD. Jammin like a happy lil idiot nerd, alone but in the best company! Thank you, forever Fleet Foxie Friends. Couldn'ta made it thru my teens or 20s w/o u
I dunno why, but you guys always make me cry out of happiness. Thank you for your music (by the way I was lucky enough to see you in El Paso, Tx. on may 10th of 2018).
I always come back to this performance. It's so chill and I never get tired of listening to it. So many excellent songs it's truly unbelievable.
This version of Phoenix is so sweet, lovely and delicate. How these voices culminate...A warm glow inside my heart. Thank you Fleet Foxes for always bringing peace of mind, anytime, since years. Healing and love to the world.
I just received a huge dose of pain from my abnormal family, I sit depressed, in tears, in hatred, abandonment and pain. And listen to this concert. I burst into tears from the sadness and joy that consumed me when listening to my favorite songs, my favorite voice of the soloist and the tenderness, light and warm joy that the songs of Foxes give me all these years. I love you guys, you heal my wounded soul. And the album, released during the pandemic, saved me from suicide. I love you so.
May I Recommend you a book? The forty rules of love, by Elif Shafak.
Not all is what it seems and things can change. I hope you find connection and love in your life.
Just saw them in Paso Robles. Really like this drummer.
Wow. Overjoyed to get to see this.
You guys are brilliant and Robin's stage presence is stellar.
My favourite band for over 10 years, the one band whose entire library I enjoy without one exception.
THANK YOU for putting this performance on the channel.
A very lonely solstice was an absolute treat as well.
Much love from Marathon, Ontario, Canada
Beamed, choked up, sang, beat my fists on my chest like an ape. That was incredible
Ha, was just watching your guys’ trip in Quetico today ✌️
Drops in the River is so beautiful.
Fleet Foxes secure their place alongside Jethro Tull and Camel as one of the great two-flute bands of history.
Your music is like a warm shower after 2 weeks out in the cold.
Like one last hug from a dead relative.
Like arriving home after 3 months abroad.
I almost cried just now typing words that resembled the feelings I feel when I hear Fleet Foxes :) :) :)
Lucky to have seen them in U.K. They lived up to all expectations, superb band.
Oh damn I'd have loved to see them!
That performance of The Shrine is simply stunning.
Caught them at The Greek in LA in July. Had seats just behind Robin’s dad, who knew every lyric. Such an amazing experience! Thanks for this!
I was at that show too it was charming how Robin kept acknowledging friends and relatives between songs
Ever hear Robin's "Happy Birthday Dad" song? You can find it here on youtube! It's got an inflatable crocodile thumbnail and it's freakin hilarious
seeing them for my birthday at the greek in berekely this august!!!!
I was there too, in the pit and blown away.
Saw them last night at the Hollywood Bowl, with My Morning Jacket. When they finished I wanted them to start over! 💙
I was there, incredible show and set list! The encore was one of the highlights. Fleet Foxes are a magnificent band.
Just saw them 7/11/23 in Portland, ME with my Nephew. Been waiting so long it was magical! Their live performance was so crisp & certainly “studio worthy”. Don’t miss them!
Was in the first row at this show and it was absolutely amazing. The show was incredible. I can’t even explain the talent of these amazing artists. Thankful they shared the taping with everyone so everyone can enjoy this amazing show! Totally visible vibing in some shots 😂🥰
I don’t know what is more incredible, the performance or the heat retention of that flask. Beautiful show.
Best experience of 2022, hands down, was Robin performing a bunch of my favorite songs before singing Happy Birthday to me ("Half of Boston") for my birthday.
That was so much fun for the other half of us too! Happy half-birthday tomorrow, I guess?
Robin's voice sound so great in this concert!!! His breath support has gotten so much stronger (from memory)! Amazing.
I had to come and comment after Going-to-the-Sun-Road.
I love love love this song, it is quite possibly my favorite Fleet Foxes song ever. The first time I heard it it I immediately put it on repeat for the next several days! When Uwade( who I had no prior knowledge of) started singing I started crying. Loved how Robin just let her go and have the rest of the song, probably because he felt just as moved as the rest of us more than likely felt. Such a beautiful moment, I am really going to try to see this next Sunday in Orlando! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mearcstapa, with its free jazz and dissonant horns blaring, is just an amazing thing to hear.
Kind of let it wash over you, and wonder what it would have been like to be there.
It''s really an amazingly deep, gut-wrenching, atmospheric piece.
I saw them in Edinburgh, Scotland last year - incredible
For those that haven't seen them live - it's basically a perfect recreation of their studio recording. Which speaks volumes about their musical ability, since there is no filter and virtually no producing in play. I would love to see them really let loose though, they clearly have the chops for it
Depends on the venue I’m from the U.K. seen them twice and it was great but the venues didn’t do them any favours this gig in particular sounds like they had an extreme amount of prep to get the sound so well balanced however the first time I went to see them I met robin and he was kind enough to chat to me and my friends for a few mins and sign my tickets great band.
My dad and I went to Fremont Octoberfest (Seattle) in 2006. Just hanging out, drinking beers, listening to the band. Couple of minutes into the set, we turned and looked at each other with a look like, "Um, these guys are really effing good."
I remembered their name, Fleet Foxes, and a couple years later noticed a review in Rolling Stone (IIRC). "That's the band we saw!"...
Took my folks to see them night before last in Asheville. Our little band is all grown up!
Also, Uwade opened and she's amazing.
I’m only 10 second into the piano intro and waves of peaceful calm warm waves of happiness ripple through my body. Love the Foxes since 2008.
Echoing the sentiment of being a long time fan and finally being able to see you live this year was one of the most impactful moments of 22. Your talent can’t be put into words, Robin! Cheers ❤
One of the most influential and talented songwriters of the past decade and a half. What a performance!
This music is as close to saving my life as anything can be.
Brother, me too.
I have been passing for a very bad time, but every time I'm down and need some confort I come back here and always left really better and more hopeful. These dudes have no idea how their existence made many of us want to keep on, blessing be the power of Fleet Foxes
It's always fun hearing Robin's third verse on The Shrine & how it changes over time
I watch this entire concert every day that I'm working from home.
Robin ain’t no fool! His band is full of super talented multi instrumentalists and The Westerlies on the horns adds a nice touch without selling out and changing their live sound to the “big band” theatrics
Saw them on this tour. Best concert I’ve ever been to. The sound and performance was astounding!
"Phoenix" is awesome in live! Christian Wargo fit perfectly Justin's part 'cause of his amazing vocals. Uwade singing the portuguese part was perfection too, pure bliss. Thank you guys for providing such a superb experience for us, I hope someday we can all go to one of your concerts.
Joining those who say they have been fans for over ten years... Y'all have touched my soul during some of the most important times of my life and most recently Shore helped me with processing the loss of multiple family members so close together. Thank you for all the smiles and tears and headbanging moments 💖 never seen a live show and I missed the tour this year but hoping to see the next one!
I have some old amazing loud speakers, and a Yamaha receiver, Bluetooth audio sat in an easy chair with my iPad…. felt like I was at the concert.. transformative experience
what a gift. I’ve been to the Sao Paulo show and now, not even a week after, this will relive all the memories. thank you Robin ❤
Wow that was an epic watch.. come to Australia 🇦🇺🫶🏼
53:04 my dream that Fleet Foxes come to Mexico their first concert will be cool and the most magical so much nostalgia for their music I sigh. Regards Fleet Foxes and Robin. Viva Mexico!! 🎉🇲🇽. Viva Fleet Foxes
He doesn't know why is still my favourite FF song, and this arrangement was so fresh and cool! 🥰
There is no better music. Plain and simple. A religious experience without ever having to repent.
saw them at forest hills a few days later. just a ridiculously talented band. took my 2 sons who didn't really know their music and both were blown away
This has got to be the rowdiest Fleet Foxes crowd of all time lmao
They’re annoying.
@@jordan-xe2yb they cant help it, theyre massholes
Hate to say it, but Robin is to blame. He shouldn't have mentioned the show being recorded live or paid the audience's antics any mind. Thankfully they kept silent for the most part (except for the idiot who randomly shrieked in the middle of INMS) but really, he should've known better. I get wanting to engage with the fans and make it a fun time and whatnot, but they paid for a music show, not a magic number.
On that note, that entire Happy Birthday segment is insulting. Not just to the viewers, but to his band mates as well. Him nearly tripping on stage at the end was 100% karmatic.
@@papayerNo surprise you “hate to say it”
@@alexh7336 ... Huh? lol come again?
Listening to the transition between Wading in Waist High Water and Sunblind live in person at this show was absolutely chilling. Second only to seeing Featherweight and Helplessness Blues live at last.
I’m so thankful and lucky I got to see you in Boston AND I get to relive the night over and over forever!! You’re every bit as amazing in person as I expected you to be too. Can’t wait for the next album, and the next tour!! (Come to State College pretty please!!)
AAAAAHHHH I'M FINALLY GOING TO WATCH THEM LIVE THIS SATURDAY OMG SO HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
It's amazing how you guys get even better with each tour. Absolutely heavenly! Please release this officially on vinyl and streaming services 🙏
I love you so much Fleet Foxes please come to South East Asia some time soon. Love from VN.
I'll get my ass to VN from India if they come. South East Asia!!!!
I was lucky enough to see them a few days later in Philly. Incredible, unforgettable experience. Thank you Fleet Foxes 🐻 🐊 🌊
It is really a huge pleasue to hear this full concert with a deep impakt of emotions. Tried to buy the vinyl version (RSD) before hearing now what i have missed. Chapeau!
Possibly the most haunting melodic beautiful collection of music ever performed , that i have witnessed. I think Fleet Foxes are a great band . This confirms them as fantastic performers as well as fantastic song writers ❤
crowd is insane, such good vibes!
Obrigada por tanto. Talvez assim como Third Of May / ōDaigahara tem um trecho que fala “Aren't we made to be crowded together, like leaves?”.
Not sure how far out FF is out with a new album, but I’m waiting impatiently.
