    Thank you Mark. My husband surprised me with a trip to Italy for 2 weeks. I was so scared to go because I cannot gain one more ounce. Your talk includes so much common sense. I gave a big sigh of relief and will enjoy, not indulge. I feel so much freer. Thank you.

    He's making a very good point about using mindfulness to negotiate our modern environment. The problem is, most people are not very mindful. If we all were, there wouldn't be the current diabesity epidemic. The general population needs to understand what mindfulness is and practice it.
    What I'm seeing right now is a small group of people (biohackers, essentially) that are getting incredibly healthy (largely through mindfulness) while the general population gets sicker and sicker. How do we bridge this gap? I'd like to know.

    Had the same problem with the vibrams years ago ... stupid design. Have they fixed that yet? All it would take would be some padding to distribute the force on the Achilles heel ...

    N equals one when something is working or isn’t working. Is working ? Keep doing that, maybe expand on it. Not working? Stop doing it. N equals one is very important as the decision making pivot point for problem solving😀

    So grains caused arthritis in his feet and hands?
    Nothing to do with the hundreds of miles he was running each week?

      presjo you’re missing the big picture

      +presjo. There people who don't run at all - who are in agony as they walk from their bed to the light switch in the morning. Majorly inflamed and diseased tendons, connective tissue, ligaments etc.. What's running got to do with it? Not every one who runs has pain in their body. This pain and bad health stuff has far more to do with what goes through our intestines than what exercise we do.

    • @MikeEnRegalia
      @MikeEnRegalia Před 6 lety +10

      No, it is unlikely that the running was affecting his *hands*.

      Internet Entity prove it. There are a lot of bogus claims about the Maassaaii, including that they have no atherosclerosis.

      with no doubt it's a business talk. But why not giving a chance to what he is talking about.
      Try the famous mediterranean diet and you will see how good it is. Southern Italy is loaded with overweighted
      people.

    Enjoyed video. Did not enjoy seeing your powerpoint every ten seconds. I came to watch someone speak, not watch slides.
