    I own both and can say honestly that the WT is an amazing value. Busse is an excellent knife with a legendary rep and the WT is as good and better in some regards. Get both😄

    The WTH Grizzly is at the top of my WANT IT list!
    I have the Famine and love it!
    Hope I get the funds together before it’s sold out!😱

      The Busse knives are solid… but expensive and difficult to find

      There are multiple versions of the battle mistress

    Busse has the strangest names for knives i was looking at a catalog of all the knives they made and the abbreviations are so silly like yeah i would like the NMSFNO LE or maybe the SFNO BG also i like the ASHBMLE SE and some busse knives i want are expensive!!! More then fallkniven! 1.5k for a knife with a name that sounds like a gas station special

      I own a straight handle anniversary battle mistress I really like But the acronyms are annoying, unless you are following it constantly to remember all that shit you need a rosetta stone to decipher what the F people are talking about.

    Busse’s are good knives but overpriced in my opinion.
    Between the two I like the looks of the WT better.
    I think the Busse probably will have the edge in an extreme abuse category though.

      I have used that Grizzly even more than the Busse and can confirm that it can handle alot

    Sooooo awesome!!! I believe the winner is Kodiak. Always loved busse but I believe the Kodiak did everything a little easier.

    So the price on this two should be similar since that is the SR101 steel blade, right? Is the grizzly k329 or sk85? Also, looks like that Busse has held up well for many years. I remember a review you did on it 5 years ago chopping and stuff. The work tough knife is nice. Work tough seems to be doing with GSO failed to do.

      Still ove my Busse and won’t be selling it
      I have used the Grizzly continuously since I got it and it held up very well
      I still think the Grizzly is a better bang for the buck

    Don’t know if this is correct or not but I heard Busse uses 52100 with a proprietary heat.

    • @auroraborealisknives4019
      @auroraborealisknives4019  Před rokem +3

      Their steels are somewhat of a secret but some people who analyzed their knives said they ise A8mod and 52100

    • @camojoe83
      @camojoe83 Před rokem +5

      INFI is very close to A8/Chipper/Viking. Not exactly the same, and with some wild heat treatment...

    • @auroraborealisknives4019
      @auroraborealisknives4019  Před rokem +4

      @@camojoe83 Busse is a king of marketing. Keeping his steel secret has kept people idolizing INFI for decades now.

    • @concealmenttraining9371
      @concealmenttraining9371 Před rokem +3

      Busse uses INFI which is A8mod family of steels. Swamprat uses SR3V which is CPM3V, they also use Magnacut. Scrapyard will be using AEB-L as well as other steels. One thing about Busse is the consistency in heat treat which gives you reliability.... that is hard to beat.

    • @auroraborealisknives4019
      @auroraborealisknives4019  Před rokem +5

      @@concealmenttraining9371 I agree. I jave been working with Worktuff for a while now to optimize our K329 heat treatment 👍
