Brilliant fish Lau, seen it many times as I often go over and visit Karl and Barry before he tragically passed. Karl's a great lad and I consider him a food friend as i did his dad. Also very knowledgeable about koi. Did you see the Kigoi he has???

@@LauMagroTheFrenchKOInection tell me about it, I've already told him that it would look great in my pond! 🤣🤣🤣 it's an absolutely awesome specimen. The guy who sold it to him is absolutely devastated now, says he couldn't buy a kigoi of that quality In the UK now.

Jesus… that’s a big trip for a fish, fair play to you. But, I understand why you did it as it stunning! I once travelled 3 hours each way to pick up a small table and chair set. If you know you want it, you know you want it ☺️👍🏼
Hi Alex, it was a long trip.but I left at 5am and was back home before 3pm so had lots of time with the fish before the evening. It had to be the right fish! 😉

Stunning fish lau and karl is a top bloke i have a yellow mukashi which was a fathers day prezzie last year from my daughter mines 50 cm and a real favourite of mine

Mukashi have always been in the top of my list after visiting queni last year or 2 years ago. She was the one for me. Her body and entire 'structure' is just amazing

I love watching your videos . You break things down so I can understand. My pond is in memory of my husband who died and my son and myself built it it’s not as impressive as yours and much smaller but we did our best🙈I’m still learning so much and realise I have far to many fish so need to give some away which will be hard but know it’s the right thing to do. I’m struggling with nitrite spikes and flukes koi keeping is so very hard at times.
@@soniadredge8327 I am very sorry to hear that, but what you have built with your son is amazing, I am sure. Don't pay too much attention to pond size. Mine is not massive.
Fish stock is very important to keeping fish healthy.
Flukes... Nasty beast. I see that you and Leon from Budget Pond Keeping are discussing things on his channel, he will give you some good advice.
Nitrite is part of the nitrogen cycle, I did a video a while back. If you look in my videos, hopefully that one will help.
