    Sorry about the on bike audio, I used my new Google Pixel 5...despite editing it turned out to record awfully...I will go back to my Huawei Mate 20 Pro in future.

    Bought an xmax 250 in 2007 adverised as seized😂it was the brakes were seized on having been left for a year in a garden. Stripped it to frame serviced it all and did 30000 miles in 10 yrs. never failed, hardly ever washed. 2 belt changes which was surprisingly easy having purchased a lidle impact gun..went to spain on it and back. Cruised at 65/70. 70mpg. Fantastic weather protection so much better commuter than motorcycles having commuted on honda 125s all my life,.no wet feet. Owned motorcycles alongside which are a better thrill. However commuting no contest. And that belt, no adjustment, replace 12000 miles. My honda 125 s remove chain and soak in diesel every 4 months. Also front brake caliper never seized unlike 125s. Comfort and storage superb. If youve never tried one do so. Never tried a chinese one though. Still need to be convinced on longevity

    Took one for a test drive today after riding the Forza and I preferred the SYM in terms of riding position and screen protection. It looks nice too.

    Its the million dollar question but compared to the Xmax 300 or Forza, how does it compare build and engine wise - would the 300+ get your vote and money?

    I have a daelim s3 , maybe looking at getting one of these 125 versions, they look great , I have no bad comments about these bikes. They look a comfy ride.

    Hi Fellas! Nice informative video, I was gonna buy the Sym Symphony 125 ST LC, smaller but also ABS and LED, now im really in doubt .... Do you have any knowledge about the Symphony,, what would you choose ? :D

    • @motorsforthemasses
      @motorsforthemasses  Před 2 lety +1

      The Symphony is still a bit basic, this Joymax is far superior.

    Mark - You certainly need a scooter in your stables .... May i suggest the Gilera GP800 or the Aprilia SRV850 😉

    Do you know if they will ever bring over to the uk the Sym Fiddle 125 Liquid cooled scooter?

    How is it for going through city traffic?
    Is it manageable or is it too wide to fit?

    As a biker with bike and a scooter i think i will change my scooter 125 for this sym joy 300. I am happy with the 125, the only thing is on long distance too less speed. So with a 300 everything should be covered.

    I can't understand why they do that with the speedos and kilometres. Surely they can easily change them for countries who use MPH

    That should be a Euro 5 standard before any choking of emissions IMO
    Thank you 🙏

    I use to own xmax 300 i trade in that bike for sym 300 joymax z+ in terms of power i think xmax its better but for maintenance and reliability I believe the sym outperforms xmax 300 easily

    I think most of the world uses KPH, including Hong Kong and Japan! I live in Hong Kong and can say for sure we are KPH here! Also reasonably sure that Japan is KPH too!! Japan and HK both drive on the left, maybe that’s what you were thinking of… Basically from my understanding the only 2 major markets that use MPH are the U.K. and USA!
    Overall good vid! Shame about the audio from your new phone, sounded like you were under water!! Perhaps some noise reduction filter is automatically applied.

    I have the new joymax 300. First oil change at 1000 km, then service at 5000 km with oil change. Next service at 10000km, with 5000 km interval.

    • @wildnfrantic1015
      @wildnfrantic1015 Před 2 lety

      Is that for the Z+ Joymax as thought their service intervals were 3000 miles or have I been misinformed?

    As I get older and a little more common, as they say.
    I do think to myself 🤔 a scooter would be great round town and commuting through the rush hour traffic. 🧐
    Looks to be a nippy machine.

    Shameless rip-off of the Yamaha XMAX, but I am sure they are decent bikes. It is a shame that in the UK maxi scooters are so unpopular!

    • @JDMz

    Bril Lads, just find it difficult to believe 'salesmen', so unconnected testers are more my cup-o-tea!
    Prove me wrong please, dig up a 5 year old Sym and compare with a similar Yam?
