Star I don't find her annoying at all. She brings logical and fair reasoning to the table for the sake of her and her friends / close family. To be fair I can see why she wants to leave david behind all the time in the last 2 episodes, because of two main reasons. 1. David is practically a changed man being able to live the way he wanted to live for a long time like being a war constantly. Obviously Kate didn't intend to marry that David but David realisticly would put them all at risk. 2. The way the family were surviving in the past was working mostly well without David and thus making leaving David and her marriage behind a valid option for someone like Javier which she shares a good connection with while attempting to rise the kids. Yes, it may come off as annoying and such but she is thinking about the safety of her family first. I'm sure if you had a plan to secure your family's safety and it gets shot down you'll be just as annoyed as she was at the end of episode 3. It'll be sad for her to come all this way just to die a dumb death like that. I'm even shocked david didn't die this episode.

The way the Gun was pointed at Tripps neck. As long as it didnt go through the Spinal Cord he should be able to survive that if he is taken care off quickly. But the way it was pointed Made it look like it went near the Wind pipe area. So i dont think Tripp will survive. That neck shot was Fatal and he has little to no chance of walking after that.
Only i think that you can save ava and tripp? If you pay attention you can clearly see that they shoot in Tripp's neck and in minute 27,06 he looks alive. Eleonor is a doctor so she maybe remove the bullet and save him. In ava's death scene they shoot her in the head and clearly no chance to survive. This is a personal theory but it maybe has sense

Remember in season 2 when it was Luke's birthday? Foreshadowing his death. Kate says "before whatever happens tomorrow happens, I need you to know.." More foreshadowing. Kenny's "death" in season 1 didn't have this foreshadowing beforehand. So I think Kate died. Would be cool if I'm wrong tho.
