games trash. Nice at first but the difficulty expectations ramp HARD. based on the outright assumption that you've been in the top guild and spending money. Hardcore P2W, extremely unfriendly f2p at a fundamental level.

Even though there are some extremely high priced transactions, this game is actually fun as a free to play player as well. I am entirely free to play and competing with the top members of my server nicely. On the topic of tribes, they’re easy to get into. All the top ones in my server only ask that you be active. (That’s how I got into the top tribe which is quadruple the power of the next best).
You can take shortcuts and buy many things, but there is a good balance. No one in their right minds unless they are way to serious about the game or doing it for content is going to be dropping several 100$ purchases on this game. Even so, many things that are purchasable are not locked behind a paywall, they are still obtainable free to play. With events, it will just take free to play players more time (for longer ones) and with the special UR (Ultra Rare) monsters, they become obtainable through regular summoning some time after the event ends.
