I was in attendance last night in my hometown region of Greenville, SC. Thank you JD for giving this show a thumbs up, I hadn't been to a Monday night Raw since 2008 WHEN regal won the king of the ring. The atmosphere was....in a word special 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. What a late birthday gift to myself a week after the fact, OTS Salute 👑.

Anyone else feel like the tournaments are slightly cursed after FOUR wrestlers got injured before they could even compete in the first round? Xavier Woods was at least a storyline but Drew, Bobby, Asuka, & Zelina just got damn unlucky. I also know that Gunther is winning no matter what, but I saw someone suggest Jey Uso vs Tama Tonga for the finals. I gotta admit that it sounds tempting, but it can be put off till later, like what they did with Gunther/Dragunov.
I think Bo is behind these because a lot of the QR CODES have happened mostly around KOR QOR matches or segments plus remember Bobby was going to be Brays match at WrestleMania

Gunther was in Europe for the overseas tour. He had matches at the house shows. So I think his passport is all good.
I'm starting to think Gunther's visa issues are not fixed yet. The last time Gunther is booked for international PLE match was in Jeddah Saudi Arabia which is last year.

Wyatt vs Orton? Ryback vs Mark henry? Big show vs Akebono? The Usos match was disappointing, but it's far from worst Mania match. Surely you're overexaggerating and trying to make the match worse than what it was.

Damien Priest’s segment with Drew Mac was the best thing about Raw. Not saying the show was bad, but that was my favorite part

Everyone keeps talking about Gunter vs Dragunov ; I still think they will join forces
I feel like they booked themselves into a corner and only realised too late that they need Ilja to look strong but that Jey is more over at the moment. So thet had to have Jey win. I dont think Ilja goes heel and joins Imperium. Instead he just dusts himself off and will go on a tear now. He will get someone to absolutely crush at KOTR and become a juggernaut until its time for him v Gunther.
How many times are they going to let Jay USO go after the world title Jesus he already had like 3 chances and lost one of those was with Roman I think. It's time for him to get back with Jimmy. Jay USO already had enough dam title shots .

My money is on Gunther winning the mens side of the whole tournament and for the womens side they may have Nia Jax win the whole thing but overall Triple H is making both Raw and SmackDown the very best it can be from a creative standpoint to very best of his abilities and as fans of wrestling who are we to hold that against him when we see a Monday Night Raw episode like this.
I feel like Jey Uso is just like Roman Reigns 2015 version - very green in ring and way better as a tag team wrestler, but actually over with the fans. It will be interesting to see if he can learn from the matches with better wrestlers than himself and grow as a performer.
More time to grow lol. He's been doing this for a decade.

roman reigns in 2015 was not green in the ring. he was a legitimate powerhouse. Jey on the other hand, is mediocre at best.

Yeh, he had a couple of good ones, but aside from Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose, none of them were memorable. 2016 is when he stepped up his game after being put in matches with guys like AJ Syles, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho.
One more reason I thought Gunther could lose because Last time Gunther gave a travel update he said he that would be able to go to Bash on Berlin

This was a decent RAW. Jey winning and going to the finals is not far-fetched. They obviously want to tell the story of The Bloodline and have Jey go against Tama Tonga at the finals. Jey seeing Heyman and the Bloodline at Backlash now makes sense. Dragunov will be ok. They obviously want to save that match (Dragunov vs Gunther) for another PLE, maybe Clash at the Castle or their Berlin show
I'm just glad that Greenville finally got a good show. Usually when WWE comes to Greenville it's the worst show of the year

I don't see a controversy. If you want to say Jey shouldn't be in the King of the Ring, or ilja shouldn't be in the King of the Ring fine, but the right person won. Like these guys have such a hard time creating over babyfaces that you have to protect them when you have them. Also... This is probably going to bleed over into the Solo's Bloodline story as Tama Tonga goes to the finals.... Which will probably end up with War Games Bloodline in November. Momentum and Storyline wise, it just all makes sense.

Jey uso gets bashed a lot for his style by the IWC and i know his WM match against jimmybsucked but he is super over. He just may be #2 under cody. We need tonget some title on him even if its the U.S. title. This is why the draft sucked. Both gunther & jey should have been on smackdow. Logan paul vs jey makes more sense than cody vs logan paul. Gunther vs cody makes more sense than cody vs logan. But all in all a very good show. EYO SKY to me stole the show.

More than likely but if it happens especially with Damian Priest on his way to a face turn I can see him kicking Dom out of Judgement Day or at least getting in his face like why are you helping her after what she did to Rhea which would make sense especially given him and Rhea alongside Edge/Adam Copeland were the original trio of Judgement Day. I can see Dom after the whole thing try and get the Judgement Day to recruit Liv with Priest being the one to say no and eventually kick Dom out of the group.

I think the finals will be Gunther vs Tonga. Then a new bloodline member( jacob fatu) causes a DQ that way they keep both guys strong and neither of them get pinned. Wwe isn't going to have Gunther lose, and i can't see Tonga losing his first PLE. Gunther gets pissed at the way he won, and get awarded a spot in MITB.
