- In this video, I test ride the Honda Hornet 750, a new naked motorcycle for 2023. With its 92 horsepower engine and torquey performance, it accelerates impressively on the highway. The seating position is comfortable, and the bike's design, while safe and clean, could benefit from some modifications. I demonstrate the user mode and turning off certain features. Overall, the Hornet 750 offers a fun and smooth riding experience. It seems like a capable beginner bike and I look forward to further rides and getting to know it better.

Same here, I like the yellow and grey ones with the yellow wheel trim, but not a fan of the white and black with red- looks a bit cheap and toy-like to me.
nice! are you looking to buy one ideally?
755cc engine in this bike is entirely new. It's a p-twin with 270° firing interval (same firing interval as any 90° v-twin). Designed to rev quickly, be lively, be more horsepower-oriented.
The NC750X bikes have a 745cc 270° p-twin, but very different than the Hornet in terms of bore/stroke ratio, valve train, compression, redline, gearing, and purpose. It's a tractor engine for motoring along at low RPM and for crazy good fuel efficiency. Similar architecture as the Honda Fit car engine (even in bore/stroke ratio), but in a 270° twin, so I have read.
Aha! Good to know! Thanks for the info 💪
Great video. I actually just bought a yellow Hornet. For the seat around the 1 hour mark gets unpleasant and I really need to get off and move around, to get some feeling in my but again 😂
Other than that, I really love it. I haven’t found or discovered anything bad yet.
I really like the torque of the engine and all the driver modes.
I’m glad you enjoy it! I sure did 😅
LMAOOO I LOVE THE GUY THAT PASSES BY DOING A WHEELIE
Se trocar escapamento deve ficar muito da hora
❤
Im just wondering how tall are you becous im thinking about buying it but i'm 6'3 amd dont know if it's going to be too small . What do you think
Started watching video then remembered this won't be available in US. The reality hits me hard every time.
What really? I did not know
Here's to hoping they put fairing on it, and bring a new Hornet model into the USA market and enter it in MotoAmerica Twins Cup joining the RS660, YZF-R7, and the GSX-8R.
How does it compare to your RS660?
You mean, Tuono 660?
It' definitely feels a bit heavier, than the rs660 and the tuono660! I reckon this is a good "allarounder", but "playful" was not one of the thoughts that came to mind.
Physical body disadvantages in bike to body
Naked...wind blast
Fairing...back pain
Story of my life! But I will however say the rs660 might be the best middle way here so far 🤌
The Supersport 950 from Ducati also is very comfortable for a faired everyday sports bike
@@sleeper.simulant7327 Yes I know this bike is often compared to the 660! I'ææ have the ability to test the supersport in august on a track in Sweden so that will be fun!
@@MrDrakenhoff if you film it I will watch lol
I literally have had no sort of problem whatsoever the bike is perfect for me
The rs 660 it's faster has 10hp more plus fairing better aerodynamic
At high speeds yes! But 0-70 I belive this at least "felt" faster in terms of acceleration. Probably because the little extra torque it has and the fact that it's a naked bike
@MrDrakenhoff yeah also depend what sprocket stock has compared with rs600
Anything the 660cc engine out-powers which is larger displacement, it's going to fall flat in the torque department by comparison. Torque is the "shove" you get without dancing on the shifter and requiring the engine to scream. GSX-8S and Hornet 750 both have more shove where your RPM spends more of its time.
