HUNT for the old SIOPAO and HOPIA in COLON (Suroy ug Dagkot sa Basilica)

In the past few months, I was always in the province. Its been awhile I haven't vlogged in Cebu City. I miss Cebu. Especially, the old Cebu. The downtown area. Colon area to be exact. I just want to see myself strolling and checking out the old places I used to go, say 20 or 30 years ago.
I today's video, I will feature Colon. I will immerse myself by taking a jeepney going there. It will be fun because I have good memories of this place countless of times in the past. Like the old past that remains fresh in my memory.
There is this siopao, I tasted 30 plus years ago that just popped out in my mind recently. I tasted it once when I was young and full of energy. I bought 2 pcs. of siopao as my take out snacks going to Negros. I remember I boarded an ABC Liner going to Bato in Santander because I was travelling to Dumaguete. And surprisingly, the siopao I bought in Colon area really was so delicious that I consumed the 2 siopao straight with only a royal 8 ounce to push it down my tummy. Hahaha! It was really an awesome eating experience.
After so many years, I decided to check it out in downtown Cebu. I know it is located near Metro Gaisano but I have to find it there and will be testing my memory and navigation.
I will also be checking out a bakery I also had some good memories in the past. I always buy their diced hopia while waiting for a jeepney ride in the past. Again, this too I can not remember exactly where in Colon. And, this will be really fun.
Now off I go to an eating adventure in Cebu's oldest city center. So, join me in this video as we will figure out these stores in Colon. And, I will also be strolling down to Basilica del Santo Niño and nearby places to show you more of what Colon looks like today.
